SEMI DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN MUSIC 7

I. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the lesson the students are expected to:
a. Identify the different art and crafts of the ILOCOS region;
b. Create their own art and crafts using available materials.

II. SUBJECT MATTER

TOPIC: Arts and crafts of Luzon
REFERENCE: Music and Arts 7 page 145-150
MATERIALS: visual aids, picture book and video clips.
III. PROCEDURE
a. Preliminary
Prayer
Greetings
Checking of attendance
b. Motivation
Show the students of different art work and ask them which among the art work they
think they can make.
1. Paper cutting
2. Weaving
3. Painting
4. Sculpture
5. Wood carving

c. Presentation
Present the topic to the students and present some picture of the different art work.
d. Discussion
Discuss the arts and crafts of the Ilocos region and the coldillera administrative
region.

e. Generalization
Let the students to identify the different art and crafts of the ILOCOS region.
f. Application
Let the students make their own art works using the available materials.
IV. EVALUATION
1. Enumerate the different kind of art works and crafts of the ILOCOS REGION.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Bring any materials that can be used to create an artistic design or art out from the
available materials.
