Application of Agile

1.Scrum Meetings
Scrum meeting is conducted on the daily basis keeping all the key metrices of the agile
methodology in mind like %Test Executed(Total number of tests executed and how many of
them are passed or failed) and %Test Productivity(Number of test cases designed by a
person per day).Moreover, the discussion helps in recovering from any hurdle that is
causing any resistance in the productivity.
Goodhart’s Law: when a measure becomes a target, it ceases to be a good measure.

Hence, as a part of agile methodology, Scrum meetings are of paramount importance.

2.Quality Engineering
With the help of Agile methodology, we are doing quality engineering. The Quality
Engineering Transformation is a holistic approach to implement Test Optimization (less code, more
coverage), Test Automation.

A step ahead we can introduce Cognitive Defect Management that will provide more stable way for
automation with the help of tools like automation anywhere.

Agile Methodology helped a lot to prioritize the client requirements and do the testing accordingly
and help in focusing more on defect prevention, not on defect detection.
