Call to Order : Meeting was called to order at Science Laboratory.

Agenda of the Meeting :


1. To discuss the enrolment (dropped-out rate, school leavers, and survival
rate for 3 years)
2. To discuss the involvement of the community to the barriers/bottlenecks of
the school

I. REPORTS:

 Report on the dropout rate, school leavers and survival rate for 3 years was given by Mrs.
Christine Mae P. Langote, SMEPA Coordinator.
 Bottlenecks or barriers and the recommendations or support needed has been also identified
by the SMEPA Coordinator.

II. OPEN ISSUES


1. Issue: How many students are enrolled from the year 2015-2016.?
Motion: The data must be gathered completely to know the total enrollees of the students per year
(Lozare).
Vote: Approved by the body.

2. Issue: On the Drop-out rate, where are the data coming from?
Motion: The data must be get from the EBEIS since the data stored in the said system is ACCURATE
(Morada).
Vote: Approved by the body.

3. Issue: On the cohort survival rate, the data is not accurate on the SY 2015-2016 since the data used was
3 years back.
Motion: You should check the LIS always to have an accurate data (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

4. Issue: What is your solution to decrease the drop-out rate?


Motion: There are so much interventions made by the school to decrease the drop-out rate e.g. participation
on school clubs (Langote).
Vote: Approved by the body.

5. Issue: How to trace the school leavers?


Motion: The data must come from the advisers by year level to track those students (Adenic).
Motion: The data must come from the LIS since his/her status can be seen in the system (Langote).
Motion: To locate the learners, check the number of students’ enrolled on the next year level and check those
students who transferred to another school (Morada).
Motion: Grade 7 advisers must forward the name of the learners to the Grade 8 advisers who are promoted
to go to the next year level to track the students who are not enrolled (Intes).
Motion: Since it is a hassle for the Grade 8 advisers to trace the students but instead the Grade 8 teachers
will give the list of students who are enrolled to the Grade 7 advisers since they are more familiar
with their students and in return the Grade 7 will trace all the students if whom are not enrolled
(Adenic).
Vote: The motion given by Mr. Adenic was approved by the body.

6. Issue: Best practice under participation to various athletic meet is lacking.


Motion: Include the fare,registration and foods of the participants as part of the best practice (Liboon,
Lourdes).
Vote: Approved by the body.

7. Issue: Alay Pagmamahal must not be on the last part of the interventions.
Motion: On the said program, the figure must be shown and it must be below the Pirma Mo, Kinabukasan Ko
Program (Rio).
Vote: Approved by the body.

8. Issue: Lack of parents monitoring


Motion: Build a strong connection with the parents and the teachers through the Homeroom PTA Meeting
(Lozare).
Motion: The parents has some alibi with regards to the participation on the Homeroom PTA Meeting (Surriga).
Motion: Call the parents anytime within the day to ensure the parents cooperation (Adenic).
Motion: I have made 3 interventions since I already experienced it, I’ve done a. Call the parents and trying to
say that his/her child is not present; b. Text always the parents to update him/her; and lastly is to ask the
parents if where is there house (Langote).
Motion: Make an annotations to monitor the child’s standing (Adenic).
Motion: Attach MOVs (Robles).
Motion: Try your best to contact the parents of the students and make an annotations (Adenic).
Motion: Conduct home visitation, talk with the family and know the background of the family. If the issue
cannot be solved on the level of the teacher, you can tap us and give the name of the students and the
specific problem and we will dig up a solution on that specific student (Libuit).
Vote: The motion given by the DSWD Coordinator and Sir Adenic was approved by the body that to make
annotations in everything that you do in case you already exhaust all the means.

9. Issue: Sickness
Motion: The problem must be addressed by the nurse (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

10. Issue: Lack of classroom and crowded students in the classroom


Motion: Add one section in every year level (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

11. Issue: Internet addiction (Students are going to internet café during classes’ hours for the reason of
researching)
Motion: PNP Police will survey some of the establishment to check if the students are inside the internet
café during classes’ hours (Dillera).
Motion: The students will have their research after class which is 4:00 or 4:30 PM at the computer
laboratory (Adeninc).
Motion: Check the establishments since the barangay passed ordinances to lessen the students seen in
the internet café during classes’ hours (Rio).
Motion: Capture photos on the students who are inside the internet café, print it and give it to the PNP
Police (Adenic).
Vote: All the motion has been approved by the body.

12. Issue: Lack of SHS Teachers


Motion: Junior High School teachers will help the Senior High School teachers on their subject loads
(Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

13. Issue: Financial problem (Students are prone into prostitution


because they have contact in the tricycle driver and they go to Chungli Lodging House)
Motion: If the area is identified, the PNP Police will raid the area and if the person involved is minor, we
will surrender him/her to the DSWD (Dillera).
Motion: Receptionist should not allow the students going inside the Chungli Lodging House (Jurada).
Motion: Request a solution to the SGC that all the lodging house in the vicinity of Antipas must allow the
LGU and the school to view their CCTV (Adenic)
Motion: Make a court order to view the CCTV (Dillera)
Vote: All the motion are approved by the body.

14. Issue: Gangsterism


Motion: Make a surveillance team or intel team per section preferably one male and one female. Another
option is that the SSG will initiate the said identification on the concern of the gangsterism in the school
(Dillera).
Vote: Approved by the body.

15. Issue: Teenage pregnancy


Motion: Strengthen the students coming from outside the barangay through responsible parenthood and
guidance counseling along with the cooperation of DSWD (Rio).
Vote: Approved by the body.

16. Issue: Bullying


Motion: Cite who is the source or trace up the students involved in the said bullying and deal with his/her
parents (Surriga).
Motion: If the bullying is outside the school premises, the student must be surrendered to DSWD (Libuit).
Vote: Approved by the body.

17. Issue: Posting sexy pictures on the Facebook.


Motion: Advisers must talk to their students and advise them that they should be responsible in posting
on their Facebook account (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

18. Issue: Lack of interest to study


Motion: There are some activities especially the interventions practiced by our school to participate on
the some of the clubs (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

19. Issue: Distance from home to school


Motion: Find a school where your home is near (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

20. Issue: Peer influence


Motion: Have a values formation and be contented with what you have (Adenic).
Motion: Have moral values formation once a week every Tuesday only in Grade 9 and Grade 10 (Lozare).
Motion: After the Grade 9 and Grade 10 moral values formation, we need to proceed to another year
level (Adenic).
Vote: Approved by the body.

21. Issue: Child Labor


Motion: As long as there is a permission coming from the parents and the dignity and the schooling of the
child is not affected then he/she is permitted to work (Libuit).
Vote: Approved by the body.

22. Issue: PNP will give TOP to those students that doesn’t have a driver’s license and student permit.
Motion: The parents must send off their students to the school and they must leave their motorcycle on
the nearby houses (Dillera).
Vote: Approved by the body.
