MENTORING (CAROLINA FOREST ELEMENTARY)


- Every Mondays I mentor at Carolina Forest Elementary. My
mentee is in the fourth grade and I help her out with her classes
and everything else that is bothering her or giving her problems.

SHADOWING/ OBSERVING (St. James Middle School and

- During my free time I usually go shadow teachers in St. James
Middle and Myrtle Beach Intermediate school. I try to learn as
much as I can and get all the experience I need in order to become
a great future teacher.

VICE PRESIDENT OF THE STUDENT-SOUTH CAROLINA EDUCATION ASSOCIATION

- “The purpose of the S-SCEA organization is to aid Coastal Carolina University Students who are majoring
in education with tools and leadership opportunities to in turn become effective teacher leaders that
advocate for the next generation. The organization strives to cultivate a generation of teachers who aspire
to inspire until they retire. The organization is founded upon three core values: professional development,
community involvement, and political involvement.”
MEMBER OF THE FOREIGN LANGUAGE HONOR SOCIETY

- The honor society brings awareness to the different languages and cultures around the world. We discuss
and do activities that involve the different languages on this planet. We discuss what’s going on around the
world and how that will affects the people, overall everyone and everything. The purpose of the society is to
recognize the different languages, cultures, religion, way of life and many more.

MEMBER OF THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF LEADERSHIP AND SUCCESS AT CCU

- In this society we mainly focus on creating future successful leaders.

PRESIDENT OF THE RUSSIAN CLUB AT CCU

- We strive to bring awareness of the Russian language in CCU. We learn and discuss the Russian language
and its culture.

MEMBER OF THE SPANISH CONVERSATION CLUB IN CCU

- As a group we are trying to bring awareness of the Spanish culture and the beautiful language to the
students at CCU. We discuss Spanish politics and culture and talk about some very important issues that we
think should be brought to the attention of students in CCU.

MEMBER OF THE FRENCH CONVERSATION CLUB IN CCU

- As a group we usually discuss and learn the culture and the language of French. We talk in French and as a
group bring awareness to the French language and culture.

MEMBER OF SAGE (Students Advocating Gender Equality)


- We, the dedicated members of Students Advocating Gender Equality (SAGE), seek to raise awareness of
gender-related social inequalities within the University community in order to promote a diverse
campus culture in which all students are treated equally.
