AKIA proudly presents an Indonesia International
Invention Festival which will be the 2𝑛𝑑 , after the
1 𝑠𝑡 edition successfully hosted in the City of Malang in 2018, AKIA is now
cooperating with Machung University and IYSA. AKIA has created a unique
possibility for young inventors from around the world to discover the beauty
of Indonesia country combined with an international invention festival. The
2𝑛𝑑 Indonesia International Invention Festival has a theme which related for
millennial inventors:

“Coolaboraction”

The objective of the festival is not only to promote greater


appreciation for young inventors in the fields of research and invention but
also to build a world science friendship through the collaboration between
inventors from different countries.

Malang is one of clean and cool cities in East Java, has been famous
since long time ago. Historical remnants scattered around Malang showing
that it has played important roles. Malang is located in the highlands,
located 90 Km from the City of Surabaya. Because of its high location,
the city has cool and comfortable air to visit. Malang is the second
largest city in East Java after Surabaya, and is known as the student city,
or many also dubbed the City of Flowers. It is undeniable, beca use of
the cold natural location and lots of green land, the city of Malang
deserves to be called the City of Flowers. In addition, several objects
with agro-tourism themes are found in Malang.

• Competition Kit (folder, ballpoint, ID Card, blocknote)
• Free 2 T-shirts for each group.
• Free one Participant Certificate for all member in a group.
• Welcoming Ceremony (include appetizer, maincourse, and desert).
• Lunch during the event (3 times lunch for 2 members in a group)
• Awarding Night Event (2 tickets for each group).
• Amazing Race and Tour (2 tickets for each group): Enjoying the Great
“Coolaboraction” with all participants in Jatim Park 1, Batu City.
• Free 2 reusable bags for each group.
Evaluation Standard
Method of Evaluation
• The innovation will evaluate by two methods: application form selection
and presentation judging. The evaluation is based on the contents of the
submitted application form.
• The highest weight of mark will be placed on the “key idea” of the
innovations and the which should contain sufficient data (both text & visual)
for the suitable evaluation and the clarity and creativity of presentation in
exhibition.

Evaluation Criteria Presentation in Front of Judges


The innovation’s novelty, technology, practicality, completeness and
marketability will be assessed to complete the entire evaluation.

Participant Criteria
7-30 years old (Primary School – University).
Marking Scheme
This invention competition is open for all inventors from National or International
Participants. The inventors who apply this event are going have a chance and experience
performing international exhibition and evaluation from international judges.
