The Autotuning function is enabled by the parameter B19-0, allowing the following modes,
• Mode 1: Basic Tuning for V/f Control. (Only required static test )
• Mode 2: Extended Tuning for V/f Control.

p Stopping modes
VAT2000 allows choice either coast to stop or ramp to stop modes at stopping time. This can be
independently set for Normal Stop, Emergency Etop and Jog run functions.
p Coast to stop, cut off drive’s output, so motor slows down by inertia.
p Ramp to stop, slows down motor speed, following pre-defined deceleration ramp time.
Caution
p Too low deceleration ramp time may cause Overvoltage on DC bus because of regenerative
energy flowing back from the motor.
p As consequence of the above, the voltage on DC bus raises, and when this reaches a level around
700VDC, the dynamic braking starts switching, feeding the regenerative energy by a braking
resistor (DBR)
