904L Stainless Steel Tube

The 904L Stainless Steel is also known as UNS NO8904, it is a low carbon austenitic nickel-
chromium stainless steel with additions of copper and molybdenum. The 904L stainless steel
pipe are used in severe corrosive conditions as it has excellent resistant to corrosion. Stainless
steel tubes are made using Tungsten-Inert-Gas (TIG) welding process on strips of specified
widths continuously to form the strips into tubular. Then the edges of the strips are heated and
compounded together under a well protected atmosphere of argon gas through a non-consumable
electrode without the addition of any filler metal.

The Stainless Steel 904L tubing are used for boilers, heat exchangers, Cross Country Pipe Line
for Gas & Water, engineering and shipbuilding, aerospace and other industrial equipments.
