About Me

My name is Heather McKay and I am 17 years old. I was born here in Salt
Lake City and I have 12 siblings, not to mention a twin sister, whom which I really
love. I stand as the 7th oldest in our family’s hierarchy.
When growing up I only ever had one goal, which was to start college at age
14. The reason as to why I wanted to accomplish such a goal was because all my
elder siblings were able to graduate High school early and start their first college
semester by the ages of 13 to 14 years old.
With much hard work and effort, I was able to achieve my life long goal and
start college by the age of 14. I am now attending my final semester here at SLCC.
I’m a very determined person and once I set my mind on something, I know I can
achieve it! I am always one to have a plan.
Because I was able to accomplish one of my biggest goals, I have now set a
new goal. Which is to become a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and to hopefully
one day open an accounting firm of my own. I know that through my degree’s,
experience, and knowledge I will be able to accomplish my goals by my efforts and
years of education to come.
