Creating Person Name Formats

Step Action
1. Begin by navigating to the Setup and Maintenance work area.

Click the Navigator menu.

2. Click the Setup and Maintenance link.

3. Use the Setup and Maintenance work area to access the Manage Person Formats task.
4. Click in the Name field.

5. Enter the desired information into the Name field. Enter a valid value e.g. "Manage
Person Name Formats".
6. Click the Search button.

7. Click the Go to Task button.

8. Use the Manage Name Formats page to review existing name format types and create
name formats.
9. Click the Create button.

10. Use the Create Name Format page to construct a name format using name components.
11. Click the Format Type list.

12. Click the Full name list item.

13. Click in the Country field.

14. Enter the desired information into the Country field. Enter a valid value e.g. "India".
15. Click the vertical scrollbar.
16. Click the Title list item.

17. Use the Select button to move the selected item to the selected components list.

Click the Select button.

18. Click the .(Period) list item.

19. Click the Select button.

20. Click the Space list item.

21. Click the Select button.

22. The remaining components were selected for you.

23. Click in the Title field.

24. Enter the desired information into the Title field. Enter "Mr" or "input text".
25. Click in the First Name field.

26. Enter the desired information into the First Name field. Enter a valid value e.g. "John".
27. Click in the Last Name field.

28. Enter the desired information into the Last Name field. Enter a valid value e.g. "Smith".
29. Exit the field to generate the formatted name.

Press [Tab].
30. Preview the formatted name to verify that the name format matches your entry.
31. Click the Save and Close button.

32. Click the OK button.

33. You have successfully created a person name format.
