URBAN SECTOR GROUP

CONTINOUS LEARNING
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
What to expect in 2019 and a look back
at the 2018 training sessions
WHAT IS THE The Continuous Learning Development Program (CLDP) is the training program
of the Urban Sector Group. Sessions conducted highlight the sector group’s five
CONTINUOUS solution pathways or areas of strategic interest (water, equity, resilience, nature,
and digital). CLDP aims to enhance the technical skills and knowledge of ADB
LEARNING staff, as well as representatives of developing member countries (DMCs), in order
to improve the design and implementation of ADB investments.
DEVELOPMENT With the new ADB Strategy 2030, the training events organized by the group
PROGRAM? and/or partners have come to emphasize the operational priorities contained in
the institutional strategy. These training events range from either brief half-day
targeted workshops in ADB headquarters to weeklong in-depth missions with
site visits.
