Methodology

This poll was conducted January 21-23, 2019 using live-operator interviews by two different calling
centers. In total 644 registered voters completed the live-interview questionnaire after confirming
their intention to vote in the upcoming Primary. Half of the responses came from cell phones, with
the  remaining responses from landline phone. The voters were dialed from a randomly selected
list of likely Chicago voters.

Our sampling methodology ensures that We Ask America Polls™ results are "projectable," meaning
that if every resident in a given geography were dialed, the results would not differ from the
reported poll results by more than the stated margin of error at a 95 percent confidence level (the
industry standard) if the survey was repeated. For this case, results with a margin of error of ±3.88
percent at the 95  percent confidence level means that if the same survey were conducted 100
times, 95 times the results would not vary in either direction by more than ±3.88 percent in either
direction.

All polls should be be viewed as a snapshot in time.
