SCENE 1.

Narrator : Zara and Jannah visit Jannah’s old friend who’s facing third stage of breast cancer.On
their way to the cafe after the visit suddenly,Zara notice a notification from her boss that asking
them to attend to a talk.

Zara : *drop her phone*

Jannah : Hey..What’s wrong babe?Is everything ok?*smile*

Zara : I don’t know. It’s itchy here*holding her armpit* *Zara look at the whatsapp message and tell Jannah*

Zara : Jannah,your boss ask us to attend a talk somewhere here as he know that we are here.

Jannah : What? Seriously? Even in weekend??*pergi dgn muka yg tanpa kerelaan*

Jannah : Forget it, now what’s wrong with you?

Zara : *memerhati dengan pandangan maut*

Jannah :*Just give her a big smile*

Zara : I don’t know why suddenly my underarm hurt. Ermm weird!

Thaarssheany : Good morning and welcome to this pink ribbon campaign everyone. Well, is everyone wearing a

do to keep our breast healthy? Nothing, just wear a bra. That’s it. Isn’t that enough? Definitely no! I guess everyone
know about breast cancer, well if you don’t then keep your phones and look at me. Breast cancer is the most
common invasive cancer in women, and the second main cause of cancer death in women, after lung cancer. Isn’t
that terrifying ? Let me tell you some fast facts on breast cancer.

2. Symptoms include a lump or thickening of the breast, and changes to the skin or the nipple.
3. Risk factors can be genetic, but some lifestyle factors, such as alcohol intake, make it more likely to happen
4. A range of treatments is available, including surgery, radiation therapy, and chemotherapy
The first symptoms of breast cancer are usually an area of thickened tissue in the breast, or a lump in the breast or in
an armpit.Also, a pain in the armpits or breast and a rash around or on one of the nipples.
But what causes this breast cancer? If you are excited as I am then let me call my friend to explain about the causes

breast cancer. After puberty, a woman’s breast consist of fat, connective tissue, and thousands of lobules, tiny
glands that produce milk for breast feeding.Tiny tubes, or ducts, carry the milk toward the nipple. In cancer, the
body’s cells multiply uncontrollably. It is the excessive cell growth that causes cancer. Yet the exact cause remains
unclear, but some risk factors make it more likely and some of these are preventable.

4. Estrogen exposure and breast-feeding
5. Genetics
6. Body weight
7. Alcohol consumption
8. Raditation exposure
 9. Hormone treatments
10. Occupational hazards

Narrator :Soon the talk finish both went back home and here starts the problem.

Jannah : Babe,I think you have to do the self-examination.

Zara : Why?

Jannah : No I’m not joking.Let’s be safe la. Please Zara.Just do it.*buat muka yg betul-ii mengharap* Just do it for me
please?

Zara : Huh???Fine if that is what you want.. *make face a little bit annoying*

*that night at Zara’s house*

Zara : *make examination by herself and feel something* Jannah,could you come here for a while?(whispering)

Jannah : Yes,why?

Zara : I think I feel something like lumps under my armpit.

Jannah : Hope you’re not joking!!

Zarah: No No!!! *worried face*

Jannah: Seriously? I think we should go to the hospital tomorrow . I don’t wanna hear any excuses ok?!

Zara : Shhhhh…you will wake my mom *confuse face and just nod the head*

SCENE 3

Narrator : The next day,Zara and Jannah went to hospital without her mother knowledge.They meet
the doctor and got the examination result.Zara’s mother give her a few of call but she did not
answer..Then Jannah tell Zara’s mom where are they.Her mother wen t rushed to the hospital.

Doctor : Hello Miss Zara..?

Patient : Hello Doctor.

Doctor : So, I have scheduled this meeting for today to discuss about the result of your breast biopsy..Um..Are you
alone or is there anyone with you?

Patient : My bestfriend is here. She is outside.

Doctor : Okey,so how are you doing? You look tensed!

Patient : Well ummmm I’m really worried about the test result..I’m afraid of it.
Doctor : Did these symptoms affected your life in general?Like completing your daily works?

Patient : Well Im still good..I still can manage my work.

Doctor : Before we go over the result of the breast biopsy,I would like to ask you one more question.Would you like
to know all the detail of your treatment?

Patient : Um yaa you’ve to tell me everything..I want to know everything.

Doctor : So Miss Zara..Im afraid I don’t have very good news for you today the breast biopsy revealed that you have
invasive form a breast cancer….stage 1..Im sorry I wish I had better news for you.

Patient : Ha?How can I have breast cancer ?

Doctor : Unfortunately this cancer can occur in anyone.

Patient : How long did I had this ?

Doctor : It is very hard to tell but you probably had this for several month.

Patient : Nobody in my family member have cancer.This can’t happen!

Doctor : In certain ways some people got cancer and others don’t...You know my clinical and I..We’re going to
support you through this and we can guarantee that we will address your pain and all the symptoms that you may
having also going to available to your family.

Zara : *silence*

Doctor : The next step is for you to be meeting with the main oncologists.This is the cancer doctor.Most likely they
recommend the following either to remove the part or the entire breast the goal of the surgery is to remove the
cancer.This gonna be follow by radiation therapy and chemo theraphy and the goals is to make sure we kill any
remaining cancer cells that will present after the surgery.I think we should focus on keeping you comfortable.

Patient : I will lose my hair...My family have to take care of me..Am I going to die doctor ?

Doctor : No,you still have many option available infact I hope the best for you.

Zara : *silence*

PAUSE DOCTOR PATIENT ~~~~~~ MOM JANNAH ON CALL

Mom : Assalamualaikum Jannah,Are you with Zara?She didn’t answer my call. *panic*

Jannah : Wsalam,Yes aunty she’s with me.We are at PPUM.

Mom : PPUM ?? Did you visit the boy again?

Jannah : No,aunty.Zara have to meet the doctor to know about her condition,can you come over aunty?

Mom : Is she okey?

Jannah : We will discuss about it later cause right now,she’s still in the room with the doctor.

Mom : Okey,I’ll be there.

PROCEED DOCTOR AND PATIENT

Doctor : My team as social worker is available to you and your family if there is any finance question or issues that
you can no longer take care of yourself.We have great nurses that will control all your symptoms..And lastly,our
ustaz will provide prayers or basic caunselor for you.Are you interested in any of this services ?

Patient : I don’t know.Not now.

Doctor : Here’s the tissues.I can imagine how you’re feeling but we’re here to support you and going to provide you
the best medical cure for you.We will support you in any ways that we can no matter what happen.Lets plan to meet
on December 12 on 9am on this couple of months can you write down any question that you may have for me or the
oncology’s team ? Can you tell me in your own words what did I have just sayed ?

Patient : I have breast cancer.You made an appointment for me with the cancer doctor to get the treatment.

Doctor : What I understand is you want to remain independent as possible and you don’t want to be a burden to
your family.Here’s my contact for you.It have my number and the number people that I have just talked to you about
also I have written down the dates.Okey ? Would you like me to explain any of this to your family ?

Zara : Ya,I will bring my mom.

Doctor : Okey,again,Im hoping the best for you and no matter what happen we will be here for you.Thank You.

*Jannah Zara keluar* suasana diam until mak sampai

Mom : Where is my daughter ??Jannah..Zara??What happen?Are you okey?

Zara : *hug mom and start to cry* Mom..I am having a breast cancer.. *cry even more loud*

Mom : WHAT !!?? No Imposibble..You must be joking..Jannah is this a prank??It isn’t funny at all.

Jannah : No aunty.We are serious.The doctor diagnose that Zara is in the stage 1 of a breast cancer.

*nurse went by*

Mom : Nurse,can I meet the doctor who diagnose my daughter? Her name is……

Jannah : Qu Sab

Nurse : Let me ask wether she is free…….Madam

Doctor : *mimic*

Mom : *reaction* Is there any cure for this??I cant believe that my daughter having a cancer.I could’nt imagine how
she gonna continue her life like normal.

SCENE 4
Narrator : The next day,at hospital Zara was admitted.Her mother and Jannah went to pray and the
nurse in-charge came to collect her data.At the evening,soon the nurse done collecting data,Zara
went to deep depression and she was literally lost in her thoughts that she didn’t realise at all she
was being watched by her neighbour,Shakirah.While treating other patients,Zara dripping tears
caught in nurse’s eye and without hesitating the nurse went to console Zara.

Mom : Zara,did you want me to buy anything?

Zara : *geleng kepala*

Jannah : Okey.Your mom and I want to go for pray so if you change your mind,just give me a call.

Mom : Jannah,did Zara talk to you today?

Jannah : No aunty,the last time I talked to her is before we enter the doctor’s room.

Mom : I am so worried about her. She’d never been this quiet before.

*at the same time the nurse approach*

Nurse: Is everything okey miss?

Zara: *just nodding her head*

Nurse: *caressed Zara’s hand* but your eyes says you’re not okey..I was watching you since morning.I can say that
something is keep bothering you.You can share your feelings with me..I am here to listen.

Zara: *with a very low voice* Actually I’m scared of the canser I’m diagnose with.I don’t want to die at this young
age.I’m devastated and don’t know what to do now.This cancer is making me miserable. *started to cry*

Nurse: Don’t say so.You’re still in the earlier stage.You have to be strong.Medication will cure this canser.That’s why
you’re here.Don’t give up and be strong.If I’m in your situation, I’ll definitely fight back and prove that I am strong .I
can totally understand you. Don’t worry you will get cured for sure.

Zarah : But……

Nurse: I know what you’re feeling but believe me I can feel you as I’m also a woman. Everything will be alright.
You’re in 1st stage aren’t you? There will be chemotherapy for you and you will get cured believe me.

SCENE 5

Narrator : The day Zara got discharged.During she admitted in hospital,Zara always feel down and
the nurse always by her side.Zara want to thanks the nurse by writing a note to her.Suddenly, an
unexpected person came to welcome Zara’s discharged day and offer to send Zara,Jannah and her
mother back home.

Zara:*happy face* *write the note*

Zara:*Thank you nurse Syuhada because along I was admitted at this hospital you always treat a good care of me
and always gave an encourage of me.Thanks a lot.*

Zara:*stick the note at chocolate and plan to give to other shif staff*

Male friend:*when inside room*How are you?

Zara and her mom:*surprise & speechless*

Zara:What are you doing here?*excited*

Male friend:Just think to meet you..Jannah told me that today you gonna discharge soo I am here to send you guys
home *Smile*

*All of them busy packing Zara’s thing and having laughing each other*

Narrator: After that day,a magical thing striked both of their he art and they started to fall for each
other.Maybe this is what we call “LOVE AT THE 1 s t SIGHT” like Rose and Jake that sailed their ship to
love life and lived happily ever after.
