A. <<<<Installations and settings>>>>

1. on the PC server, make sure that the updater / gcafe console is running properly
(IP settings, etc.) and in "Basic Settings" change the server mode to Diskless.
Don't forget to add drive software via the "sync console" menu.

2. on the PC server, install the diskless server. after installation, open the
"Server" menu> "Options" or directly to F4 board.

3. on the "General" tab, change each of the "writeback paths" and "System image
upload folder" locations to the empty drive. On the "DHCP" menu tab, check the
connection and check again on "Enable DHCP TFTP".

prepare a diskless PC Client with the OS that is still fresh and just install the
driver network to upload the Client PC image. Enter the basic installation files
(driver, gcafe client, etc.) into the desktop and install the diskless client and
upload the OS image with the shortcut "uploadtool.exe" on the desktop.

4. On PC Server, open Diskless Console and select the "Image Manager" menu and
check that the previously created OS client image is in the list. Also add Game
Disks that have been previously prepared for the Gcafe Console if they have not yet

one pc that appears in the console and select "Edit user", remove the checklist in

Game Disk.

6. Continue to the client PC that has been prepared to boot through diskless and
regis to one of the PC names and check whether the game disk appears on the client

7. Return to PC Server and right-click on the PC on the list that is active. Select
"super user" to make changes to the image being used, and restart the PC client.

8. On an active PC client through diskless boot, install Gcafe Client along with
other software needed and shutdown the client PC when it's finished.

9. Return to the PC server and turn off "Super User". Save the OS image and add a
restore point so that it can be rolled back again.

10.Change all Client PCs so that all of them use the newly saved OS image.


If you already have a system image file or want to add it, click Image Manager on
the Diskless Server menu.

In the next window, select the Import Disk menu at the bottom right of the window.

Select the system image that you want to add. If the system image that you imported
has a restore point, ONLY SELECT THE BASIC IMAGE. because the diskless server will
automatically add restore points

Select Cache Settings on the diskless server menu, select the drive you want to
change the cache size. Check the Enable option and enter the amount of RAM cache
you want and Apply.

In this example, Drive D is a storage area for System Image, Drive E is a place for
storing files from Gcafe Updater, and Drive I is for Diskless Writeback.

E. <<<<PnP Tools>>>>

1. First determine the network driver that you want to locate from the Client PC.
On Client PCs that have diskless client and network driver installed, open the
PNPTool application on the desktop.

2. In the PnP Tools menu, check the Network Driver used by this Client PC and what
you want to add to the destination system image.

3. Select Export, which has a middle section and save the .zip file from the
network card to be used on PC Server later.

4. On the PC diskless server, open the diskless server folder and open the file

5. Select "Load Image" and enter the system image that you want to add to the
network card driver. Make sure the basic system image you want to add comes from an
AMD-based PC and has a network card driver that isn't too new.

6. Select "Import" to add the desired network card driver and end with the "Install
to image" option.
