RE: WORLD YOUTH DAY – LAGUNA 2019

Joyful greetings in this Year of the Youth!

The 33rd World Youth Day (WYD) this year will be held on January 22-27, 2019 in Panama City, Panama with the
theme, “I am the servant of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.” [Lk 1:38].

In line with the celebration of the WYD, the Diocese of San Pablo – San Pablo Youth Commission will be holding a
local celebration in our province on February 16-17, 2019 at Laguna Sports Complex, Santa Cruz, Laguna. We
would like to invite you and your youth ministry to participate in the event. We will be grateful if you could
send as much number of delegates as possible. The event registration fee is Php 20.00 per participant.

Your delegation can register through the ONLINE group registration which can be accessed through the SPYC
official Facebook page: www.facebook.com/spyc.laguna. Registration details are as follows:
• The deadline of the online group registration is on FEBRUARY 1, 2019.
• The online group registration should only be done ONCE by the delegation head. All slots taken by the
delegation once registered are already considered paid.
• Things to bring:
o Donation Item/s: Baby Powder for District 1, Bath Soap for District 2, Shampoo & Conditioner
for District 3, Toothpaste for District 4, Toothbrush for Schools, Face Towels for other
Organizations and Dioceses
o Candle Stick/s with Cover, Umbrella, Sit-upons/Mats, Writing Materials, Rosary, Personal
Medicine, Individually Packed Food (Food Concessionaires will be available from 1:00 PM to 6:00
AM), Event ID (IDs shall be provided by the delegation head per participant in his/her delegation. ID
template for the event will be posted in the SPYC official facebook page)
o Php 20.00 Registration Fee
• Please be updated on the details of the event by visiting the SPYC official Facebook page from time to time.
All event details will be posted through the page. The registration on the event will start at 1:00 PM on

We would also like to invite your group/organization to be part of the WYD Laguna Got Talent program
segment. INTERESTED PERFORMERS SHOULD INFORM THE WYD LAGUNA 2019 SECRETARIAT ON OR
BEFORE FEBRUARY 6, 2018. The application process for this can be accessed through the WYD Laguna 2019
online group registration link and will be subject for screening and approval.
