Temperature Regulation Homeostasis Project

Abstract:
The purpose of this study is to see how the body reacts to
different temperatures and to see if the body can maintain a
relatively constant temperature.
We believe that this will show our class how the body
regulates heat. Our hypothesis is that our body will keep our
internal heat constant but the outside of our body will change
slightly.
Introduction:
Homeostasis is the physiological process that maintains an
equilibrium between interdependent elements in the human body.
With our system, body temperature regulation, several organs
are involved in maintaining a constant temperature.The main
organ is the skin to cool down, and to heat up the muscles are
the most important. The blood vessels will contract to keep
heat in, and the blood vessels will expand to get rid of heat.
