the post of an IT Assistant, I am enclosing my CV for your information.

Having graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology in which my
specialty is in Electronics/Telecommunication from Kwara State Polytechnic, I have been looking to
apply the knowledge I have acquired into the workplace, and American International School Of
Abuja offers the perfect opportunity to do this.

I have developed the skills set directly relevant to the role you are hiring for. During my studies, I
developed an excellent eye for detail and have significant experience of Computer installation,
maintenance and repairs (Hardware and Software), Network Administration, Electrical and
Electronics installations and maintenance. I am also experienced in Digital Network Security and
Operating Systems Security and website development. I undertook a number of team projects as
part of my studies, so I am very comfortable working as part of a team and I am confident in my
interpersonal and communication abilities. I have received feedback from fellow team members that
helps to affirm this.

I am experienced in working to deadlines and accept that this would be an important part of the
role. I am presently working with Redeemer’s Private School, Wuse 2, Abuja as an Information
Technologist. My abilities in this area are further demonstrated by maintaining existing applications
which includes keeping records of the organisation’s data, updating and maintaining database of
information, troubleshooting and technical support (Hardware and Software), establishing
management solution and coordination of information flow in accordance with the internal system
of the organisation, World Wide Web solutions and Local Area Network set up and maintenance, to
mention but a few, the position I held as the head of IT. This role requires significant responsibility
and commitment in terms of time, technical know-how and effort – something I relish. It is also
necessary for me to hone my prioritisation and multi- tasking skills in order to effectively carry out
these roles.
