TMS 600 Control System

Safety:
Always keep the control panel door closed and locked
when not working on the panel. When working with
drives or controllers, make sure the power is turned off.
Open the main power switch and make sure all 3 legs are
open. Use extreme caution when working around live
electrical equipment. Lock-out and tag the main power
switch.

NOTE! Even if the main electrical supply is OFF there

maybe parts which are still electrically live, such as,
lighting, risers, outlets and group system circuits.

TMS 600 systems are are always installed in red

control cabin

Maintenance Guidelines
Checks Actions
Control Panel
1. Control Panel should be clean. Components Clean if dirty by using vacuum cleaner, dry air blower, small brush
should not sign black dust, poor soldering joints, or rags. Replace worn or damaged component.
burn or flash marks. Note: When blowing out controller be careful not to dislodge
components and ensure you wear eye protection.
2. Ventilation systems should be functioning. Clean the ventilation holes, replace wear or damaged component.
3. There should not be any abnormal noise coming Investigate any reason for noise etc. Noisy contactors should be
from contactors (refer to drive guideline), etc. replaced.
4. All fuses and circuit breakers should be of correct If there is any doubt that a fuse has been replaced by one with
type and rating and are in good condition..) incorrect type or rating, it must be replaced with the correct fuse.
Wires and connections
1. Wires and connections should be correctly fixed Tighten loose connections, replace wear or damaged wires. Ensure
and tight, without wearing or insulation breaks. connections for motor, load weighing and brake are secure at both
ends
