Electrical Substation, Instrumentation and Control Systems.
Activities Performed: Job responsibilities include overseeing the
completion of all project activities performed by the EPC contractor. Job
involved, high pressure piping for Natural Gas at 1500 Design pressure
with pipe sizes range from 42 inch to 1 inch, Equipment such as
Compressors, Gas turbines, Inlet gas scrubbers, Filter separators,
condensate tanks, pumps, Air Compressors, Gas Engines, etc.
Review of the detailed design of Piping as per ASME 31.3, 31.4, 31.8
carried out by the EPC contractor.
Review and approval of design calculations, drawings and procedures
submitted by EPC Contractor in accordance with API, AGA, ASME,
ASTM and NFPA codes, Local Pollution control norms and Bangladesh
Building Codes. Evaluate technical amendments, modifications of
original design, if necessary, prepare recommendation and submit to
client for approval.
Review, evaluate and approval of factory testing procedures and test
reports of major equipment during manufacturing.
Assisting client in ensuring that all material procured for the installation
of the compressor station is in accordance with the bidding document
requirement and in good condition. Assist GTCL in ensuring that the
contractor executes the work satisfactorily maintaining proper quality
and workmanship including NDT, adhering to all safety norms and
taking required environmental mitigation measures.
Assisting Client to certify work progress, material consumption and
contractor payment.
