I submit herewith the face value proposal for the above work
.for the following reasons ,
The above work was award to M/s Teems Engineering
Construction, Chennai.
The tower location 22 (KCR Type tower) the land owner object to provide
tower in his land and make discursion several time between officials and
owner and finally the land owner accept to provide tower in the edge of
boundary of his land
Additionally two sets of special type cross arm is essentially

required at locations 22 &23 (Each one set) to provided for stringing the
conductors between cross arms .so has
to enhance the spans and hoisting of insulators in the locations.
The above reasons quantum of work increased based on that

the value of work has enhanced to Rs. 4241949/-from the original face value
of Rs.40,43,930/- the excess of Rs. 198019/-(ie 4.9%)
Necessary comparative statement is enclosed here with for the

face value proposal, for the above work.
Hence I request that the face value proposal may please be
got approval from the competitive authority and communicate as early
please.

Pudukkottai have quoted the lowest rate out of three firms.
4) This Painting works is essentially required to be carried out in
order to get the FC from the Concened Department and make the
vehicle road worthy.
5) Also this lorry is essentially required for the ongoing works
6) Under the above circumstances , it is requested that approval may

1) Cracks were developed several places in superstructures such as in

room,ete.,
2) Painting not done so for in the steel window in store room
3) Water staganised in the passage in front of toilet and bath room
4) During the rainy seasons rain water enter into the control room via
door opening
5) Inside the store room store your materials stored to clear
materials and clean the
room make as good.
Your are requested to rectify the above said remarks as early ,the

The above cited work was award d on 02.6.15and site handed over on
03.6.15.period of completion 1 month (02.7.15) and work portion of 110
KV & 22 KV yard filling with gravel was completed as on 16.6.2015 for
carryout the further works in the yard ie Wet macadam with 40 mm metal
and filling 20 mm metal above the gravel filled area under the different
Agreements.
The Executive Engineer/Transmission Line Construction /Trichy
inspection of 110 KV pudukkottai urban SS on 06.7.2015. it is found that
between 110 KV eastern side yard kerb wall and fencing wall area .It is
found that uneven surface its is looks very shabby. He is instructed to
make even surface with the help of gravel.
The Executive Engineer/TLC/Trichy instructed to me to inform the

contractor to take necessary step to fill the portion with gravel and to
maintain the surface level has already filled rear side of control room
building.
You are requested to make necessary arrangement to the area as
per the instruction by the Executive Engineer/TLC/Trichy as early please.

after raising the yard level by using gravel .The rising the sub
station level by using gravel as requested by the TANGEDCO
/Pudukkottai based on that the estimate prepared and submitted for
approval After complection of filling works the balance works are
carry out and completed within 10 days
The reason stated by the contractor is genuine, The contractor has

requested EOT for the above work 10 Days from the date of
completion of filling gravel works in the separate agreement

In this connection we have suggest that the Existing 110 KV line
from Pudukkottai 230 Kv SS to Pudukkottai sipcot 110 KV SS need not be
dismantled for the following reasons.
1. The Existing line from Pudukkottai 230 KV SS on DC towers upto
Railway crossing one feeder goes to Alangudy and another to sipcot
SS at pudukkottai.After Railway crossing the feeder are sepreated
and connected with SC line on SC towers.The line can be used for
line line from Pudukkottai 230 KV SS to Raiway crossing
2. To avoid the Rail way crossing approval and time delay, the Existing
corridor can be used benificially.and also avoid the ROW problems
because the around areas are developed in Residential areas..

The stringing materials such as panther conductor,GI Earth wire

and hardware fittings,supllied by the department during Auguest
2011to October 2011.
The contractor wants to short closer this Agreement, due to non

complection of coping works loc 31,32 &34 which is located inside
the tank(kulam),at the time water stored the tank ,Hence the coping
works was not completed in time .The short closer proposal has
already submitted vide Lr.No.EE/TLC/TRY/DB/DM/F.Thirmayam-
Aliyanilai/D.No.91/11-12 dt.23.02.2012.(copy enclosed),Now it is
constructed revertment along with coping.in the other agreement.
At last the line charged on 24.12.2011.succesfully.There is no

loss to the Board .The EOT proposal received from the contractor
up to 24.11.2011 without penalty. .
