Purpose
WARNING: Always start with Section 1 when using this procedure.
This software provides the 700/700i DCP V3.7MN System Software to support the Xerox 700/700i Digital Color
Press product family which may include the optional High Capacity Feeder (HCF), Oversized High Capacity
Feeder (OHCF), 2-tray Oversized High Capacity Feeder (OHCF-2), Offsetting Catch Tray, Interface Module
(IFM), High Capacity Stacker (HCS), GBC AdvancedPunch and Advanced Finisher/Professional Finisher, or
Light Production C Finisher.
Note: In this release, the Advanced/Professional Finisher is referred to as the “C Finisher”. The Light
Production C Finisher is referred to as the D Finisher.
The software can be loaded on any valid 700/700i DCP Product Family configuration. When the procedure is
complete, the machine will have the set of 700/700i DCP V3.7MN System Software versions identified in Table 7
(Section 10).
Note: This release of software is available as both an e-download and as
Warning: All Auditron customer account information will be lost when this software is loaded or reloaded. There is no
way to save this information. Before loading this software make sure the System Adminstrator informs all Auditron
users that the customer data they have stored on the machine will be lost.

Section 1 – Prerequisites
1. Install the Xerox 700/700i DCP family product and all related kits. Please read these instructions very
carefully. Complete each step as required.
2. Follow the instructions in the PWS 700-700i DCP Tool v3.0 folder to install the latest PWS Diagnostic Tool.
3. If the system is configured with a GBC AdvancedPunch, check and confirm that the GBC AdvancedPunch
Module is correctly installed, with communications cable and power cord connected, and module power turned on
before loading System Software.
4. Insure that 700DCP V3.0MN System Software or higher is installed prior to upgrading to 700/700i DCP V3.7MN
System Software. If the system is lower than V3.0, upgrade both DFE & IOT.
5. See Section 4 for information on how to check if you have the latest release already loaded.

Section 2 – Print System Settings List


The System Settings List contains customer configuration information. Print the System Settings List so customer
information can be restored at the conclusion of the software upgrade. For a new install, the System Settings list will
not contain customer information but may be useful as a reference.

1. Select Machine Status button. Select the Print Reports button. Select Copy Reports, Configuration
Report. Select Start.
2. Select Close, close, and the Services button to exit.

Section 3 – Machine Setting Verification


1. Ensure that the Software Download mode is enabled and Set machine clock and date to ensure that the
machine does not enter the Power Saver mode during the Script File Read/Write process or during
software download on the machine UI.
a. Select 0 for five seconds and then Start. At the login screen enter the CSE password and select confirm.
Select Machine Status button, select Tools. On System Settings screen in the Group column select
Common Service Settings and in the Features column and scroll down and select Other Settings.
b. Scan the column for the line Software Download if it is enabled go to step “d”.
c. If Software Download is disabled select the Software Download line and select Change Settings.
d. In the Features column select Machine Clock/Timers. Scan the column for the line Power Saver/Energy
Saver Timers. See the instructions in Section 10, Step 3.
e. Select Change Settings
f. Set values for both timers to 60. Select Save.
g. Scan the column for the line Date.
h. Select Change Settings
i. Select required Date Format.
j. Set correct day, month and year.
k. Select Save.
l. Scan the column for the line Time.
m. Select Change Settings
n. Set correct Time.
o. Save and Close.
p. Select Services button.
q. Select 0 for five seconds and then Start to exit the CSE mode.
r. Select Enable and Save.
s. Select Close
2. Select Services Status button. If the message appears, select Reboot Now.
3. Power down the DFE if it is a standalone DFE. If this is a bustled DFE do not power it down.
4. Power down the IOT. If this is a bustled DFE un-plug the DFE cable.
5. Disconnect the network cable at the IOT Controller.
6. Power On the IOT
a. At the UI, select Job Status
b. In the Active Jobs screen delete all jobs from the print queue.

Note: Verify the following machine settings before proceeding with the install procedure.
7. Enter Diagnostics from the UI. Press the Services button. Select 0 for five seconds and then Start. At the login

screen enter the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Machine Status button. Select Tools tab.
8. In the Feature column select Maintenance/Diagnostics, and NVM Read/Write. Check/change the NVM
Locations in Table 1 below based on machine delivery destination.

10. After checking/changing NVMs, select Close. Select Exit (Keep Log) and Yes, “It is OK the error history log is
not cleared”.
• If NVM values were changed the machine will reboot to “Ready to Copy”.
• If no NVM values were changed: Press the Services button. Select 0 for 5 seconds and Start to take the
machine out of the Diagnostic mode.

Section 4 – Confirm current software version

Check the current version of software on the system from the Configuration Report or select “Machine Status”
on the UI. Select Machine Information and Software Version. Compare the software versions to Table 7 (Section
10) of this procedure. If all software components match Table 7, no software upgrade is required. Go to Section 10
Call Closeout.

Section 5 – Save NVM Snapshot of critical values


The NVM Snapshot saved in this section will serve as a backup in the event of a software download or PWB failure
during the upgrade. The NVM snapshot includes the customer and machine specific manufacturing settings.
1. Insert the CD with the 700-700i DCP V3_7 MN System SW CD in the PWS CD-ROM Drive.
2. Ensure the PWS is plugged into an AC Power Supply and the USB cable is connected to the IOT.
3. Select 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS to
read information and connect.
4. Select NVM Access from the DC Quick pull down menu.
5. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD. Select the 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder. Select
the Scripts folder. Double click to select the 700DCP_v19.csv.
6. After the script file has opened, select Create Snapshot. The machine will execute the NVM Read.
Note: If an Error message appears, select OK. Select the Errors tab to review the failed NVM. Read errors will
occur if script NVM are not in the PWS database or when machine options are not enabled on the machine.
7. Select Save Snapshot. The NVM Access folder should open. The file name format is:
machineserialnumber_mm/dd/yr_700DCP_v19.mdb. Select Save. Select Yes to create, save, or replace
existing file as required.
8. Select File and Exit PWS. Select Cancel do not save the MachineData file. The IOT should be in the “Ready to
Copy” mode.

Section 6 – Load System Software (All in One file)


This section provides the procedure for System Software download. If software download problems are experienced
and individual files must be downloaded, go to Section 7. “Loading Individual Software files”.
1. Ensure that the USB cable is connected between the PWS and the IOT.
2. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS to
connect and read information.
a. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
b. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder, Scripts
folder. Select 700DCP_HDD_v1.csv script file.
c. Select Open Script File.

d. Select Create Snapshot


e. Select Save Snapshot. The NVM Access folder should open. The file name format is:
machineserialnumber_mm/dd/yr_700DCP_HDD_v1.mdb. Select Save. Select Yes to create, save, or
replace existing file as required.
f. When the NVM read is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel do not save the MachineData file.
g. Power off IOT using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off
h. Power On IOT.
3. If the machine configuration contains a finisher open the finisher front door and find the product code. If the
machine configuration does not contain either finisher use the “IOT_DFin.bin“ file to load software.
a) Find the Finisher Product Code in the Product Code column in Table 2.
b) Identify the required 700-all-1file from the .bin files listed.

4. Switch IOT Power OFF using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait 45 seconds.

5. Enable Download Mode: press and hold the “Energy Saver” - button while switching IOT Power On with
the switch at the top of the IOT. The UI screen should indicate “Download Mode”.
6. If the PWS “Found New Hardware Wizard” message appears, select Cancel. These drivers are not required.
7. Open the 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool. Select Enter Software Download.
8. Ensure the CD with the 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software is in the CD-ROM Drive.
9. Select Add All In 1 File. Browse to the software CD,
10. Open the 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder. Open the All In One Files folder,
11. Open the 700-all-1file folder. Double click to select the file identified in Table 2.
12. Select the Start Download button to start the transfer process. A progress bar will be displayed on the PWS
showing the status of each activity. The UI and PWS will display “Transferring” while the bin file is transferred to
the machine. The messages will change to “Processing 0_x” as the files are processed. After processing is
complete, the machine will reboot.
Important: If the UI does not return to “Ready to Copy” it is ok, but do not power off the IOT in the following step
until the Interrupt Button stops flashing indicating processing is complete.
13. Switch IOT Power OFF using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait 45 seconds and then switch IOT Power ON.
14. Select File and Exit to close the PWS Software Download Tool.
15. If a 124-315 (DC132 02) fault occurs use this step to set the IOT serial number:
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen enter
the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Login/Logout button.
b. Select Adjustment/Others, Machine ID/ Billing Data. Follow the on screen instructions to set the PWBA
serial number selecting Sys1.

c. Select Close, Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot.
16. If a 116-331 Invalid Log Info fault occurs use this step to correct the fault:
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen enter the

CSE password and select Confirm. Select Machine Status button and select the Tools tab.
b. On System Settings screen, in the Group column select Common Service Settings, in the Feature column
select Maintenance/Diagnostics, and Delete All Data. Follow the on screen instructions to clear data.
c. Select Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot.
17. If a 116-397 fault occurs use this step to correct the fault:
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen enter
the CSE password and select Confirm.
b. Select Login/Logout button. Select NVM Read/Write. Check/change the NVM Locations in the table below.

c.
After checking/changing the NVM locations, select Close. Select Exit (Keep Log) and Yes, “It is OK the error
history log is not cleared”.
d. If NVM values were changed the machine will reboot to “Ready to Copy”.
e. If no NVM values were changed: Press the Services button. Select 0 and Start to take the machine out of
the Diagnostic mode.
18. If a 116-321 fault occurs ignore the fault message and continue to the next step.
19. NVM Initialization.
a. Power off the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED’s on the UI turns off.
b. Push "Energy Saver" button+"Stop"+"2" and Power ON machine
c.
When “Please Power Off” message appears on the UI screen release the buttons, Power off the IOT, wait
45 seconds and Power On the IOT.
20. If a 116-334 Info fault occurs use this step to correct the fault:
a. Power OFF the IOT.
b. Switch Off the circuit breaker on rear of IOT. Wait 10 seconds and switch on the breaker.
c. Power ON the IOT.
d. This step may need to be repeated to clear this fault.
21. If a 124-315 (DC132 02) fault occurs use this step to set the serial number:
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen enter
the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Login/Logout button.
b. Select Adjustment/Others, Machine ID/ Billing Data. Follow the on screen instructions to set the PWBA
serial number selecting Sys1.
c. Select Close, Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot.
22. HDD Initialization
a. Power off IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off.

b. Push "Energy Saver" button +"Stop"+"4" and Power ON machine. Hold buttons for 15 seconds.
c. Follow the instructions on the UI screen. If UI screen displays “Ready to Copy” proceed to the next step.
23. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS to
read information and connect.
a. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
b. Select Open Snapshot. The NVM Access folder will open.
c. Open file that was previously saved machineserialnumber_mm/dd/yr_700DCP_HDD_v1.mdb. If “Serial
Number Mismatch” message appears confirm the date and serial number of the file.
d. Select Restore Snapshot.
e. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder, Scripts
folder. Select the appropriate script file:
i. 700DCP IOT v24XC.csv script file for XNA.
ii. 700DCP IOT v24XE.csv script file for XE.
f. Select Open Script File.
g. Select Create Snapshot
h. After the snapshot is complete select Restore Snapshot.
i. When the NVM write is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel do not save the MachineData file.
j. Power off IOT using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off
k. Power On IOT.
24. If a 124-319 fault occurs use this step to set the serial number:
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen enter
the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Login/Logout button.
b. Select Adjustment/Others, Machine ID/ Billing Data. Follow the on screen instructions to set the PWBA
serial number selecting Sys1.
Important: If the Billing Data for the 3 PWB’s appears correct but the routine allows you to
proceed with the PWB update, follow the procedure to completion.
c.
Select Close, Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot.
Note: This step may require several machine reboots to clear this fault.
25. If the machine configuration contains an HCS proceed with this step, otherwise go to step 27.
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen enter
the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Machine Status button and select the Tools tab.
b. On System Settings screen, in the Group column select Common Service Settings, in the Feature column
select Maintenance/Diagnostics, then select Initialize NVM.
c. Select HCS, then Start.
d. A confirmation screen will appear "The Selected NVM will be initialized. Are you sure?” Select Yes.
e. When the message “The NVM has been initialized” message appears on the UI select Confirm.
f. Select Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot to “Ready to Copy”.

26. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS to
connect and read information.

a. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.

b. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder. Select
Scripts folder. Select the HCSv11.csv script. Select Open Script File.
c. Select Create Snapshot.
d. Select Restore Snapshot.
e. Power off IOT using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off
f. Power ON machine
g. Select File, Exit, Cancel to close PWS.
27. If the machine configuration contains a “Light Production C Finisher” proceed with this step, otherwise go to the
next step.
a. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS
to read information and connect.
b. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
c. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder, Scripts
folder. Select the 700D_FNv14.csv script. Select Open Script File.
d. Select Create Snapshot
e. After the snapshot has been created select Restore Snapshot.
f. When the NVM write is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel. This does not save the MachineData
file.
g. Power off IOT using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off
h. Power ON machine 700/700i DCP
28. Proceed to Section 8 to complete machine setup.

Section 7 – Loading Individual Software Files


This section is required for Individual file loading that may be required in the event of PWB replacement or during
problem investigation.
1. Switch the IOT Power OFF using the switch at the top of the IOT.
2. Ensure that the USB cable is connected between the PWS and the IOT.
3. If the IOT.bin file is to be loaded proceed with this set, otherwise go to the next step.
a. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS
to connect and read information.
b. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
c. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder,
Scripts folder. Select 700DCP_HDD_v1.csv script file.
d. Select Open Script File.
e. Select Create Snapshot
f. Select Save Snapshot. The NVM Access folder should open. The file name format is:
machineserialnumber_mm/dd/yr_700DCP_HDD_v1.mdb. Select Save. Select Yes to create, save, or
replace existing file as required.
g. When the NVM read is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel do not save the MachineData file.
h. Power off IOT using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off
i. Power On IOT.

4. To enable Download Mode, press and hold the “Energy Saver” button while switching IOT Power ON
with the switch at the top of the IOT. The UI screen should indicate “Download Mode”.
5. At the PWS “Found New Hardware Wizard” message, select Cancel. The driver is not required.
6. Open the 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool. Select Enter Software Download.
7. Ensure the CD with the 700-700i DCP V3.7MN System Software is in the CD-ROM Drive.
8. Select Remove Files if any files are in the “Files to Download” list on the PWS screen.
9. Select Add Individual Files. Browse to the CD drive, open the 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software
folder, open the Individual Files folder.
10. Select and open the product folder.
a) In the product folder, open the “IOT DADF IISS HCF FIN IFM HCS” folder containing other individual
module files or the “PS” folder containing the controller file. (Table 4).
b) Select the required .bin file(s) for the module(s).

Note: If a machine is configured with an OHCF, the OHCF software version will be
displayed on the UI in Software Versions in the HCF ROM row.
11. The selected bin file(s) should appear in the “Files to Download” list. Select Start Download to start the loading
process. A progress bar will be displayed on the PWS showing the status of the software load for the file. The
UI and the PWS will display “Transferring” while the bin file is transferred to the machine. The message will
change to “Processing 0_1” as the files are processed. After processing of each file is complete, the machine
will reboot.
Important: If the UI does not return to “Ready to Copy” after processing all selected files, it is ok, do not power off the
IOT in the following step until the Interrupt Button stops flashing indicating processing is completed.

12. Select Remove Files to remove files from the “Files to Download” list. If you must install another single file,
return to step 1 of this section.
13. Select File and Exit to close the PWS Software Download Tool.
14. Switch IOT Power OFF using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait 45 seconds, switch IOT Power ON
15. If the Controller ESS.bin file was loaded, perform the following: (If a 116-321 fault occurred ignore the fault
message and continue to the next step.)
a. NVM Initialization.
b. Power off the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LEDs on the UI turns off.

c. Push "Energy Saver" button "Stop" "2" and Power ON machine
d. When “Please Power Off” message appears on the UI screen release the buttons, Power off the IOT,
wait 45 seconds and Power On the IOT.
e. HDD Initialization
f. Power off IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off.

d. Push "Energy Saver" button "Stop" "4" and Power ON machine. Hold buttons for 15 seconds.
e. Follow the instructions on the UI screen. If UI screen displays “Ready to Copy” proceed to the next step.
16. If the IOT.bin file was loaded, perform the following:
a. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
b. Select Open Snapshot. The NVM Access folder will open.
c. Open file that was previously saved machineserialnumber_mm/dd/yr_700DCP_HDD_v1.mdb. If
“Serial Number Mismatch” message appears confirm the date and serial number of the file. Select Yes to
continue.
d. Select Restore Snapshot.
e. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder,
Scripts folder. Select the appropriate script file:
• 700DCP IOT v24XC.csv script file for XNA.
• 700DCP IOT v24XE.csv script file for XE.
f. Select Open Script File.
g. Select Create Snapshot
h. After the snapshot is complete select Restore Snapshot.
i. When the NVM write is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel do not save the MachineData file.
j. Power off IOT using the switch at the top of the IOT. Wait until the “Blue” LED on the UI turns off
k. Power On IOT.
17. If the DFIN.bin file was loaded, perform the following:
a. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the
PWS to read information and connect.
b. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
c. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder,
Scripts folder. Select the 700D_FNv14.csv script. Select Open Script File.
d. Select Create Snapshot
e. After the snapshot has been created select Restore Snapshot.
f. When the NVM write is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel. Do not save the MachineData file.
18. If the Interface module IFM.bin file was loaded and the machine configuration contains a GBC AdvancedPunch
proceed with this step, otherwise go to the next step.
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen
enter the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Machine Status button and select the Tools tab.

b. On System Settings screen, in the Group column select Common Service Settings, in the Feature column
select Maintenance/Diagnostics, and then select NVM Read Write..
c. Enter NVM Chain link 769-226. Select Confirm/change. Enter the correct value for the machine
configuration:
• No punch (Default) = 0
• Connected (type-A4 paper) = 1
• Connected (type-Letter paper) = 2
d. Select Save.
e. Select Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot.
19. If the machine configuration contains an HCS proceed with this step, otherwise go to step 21. If the HCS.bin file
was loaded, perform the following:
a. Enter diagnostics from the IOT UI: select 0 for five seconds and then press Start. At the login screen
enter the CSE password and select Confirm. Select Machine Status button and select the Tools tab.
b. On System Settings screen, in the Group column select Common Service Settings, in the Feature
column select Maintenance/Diagnostics, then select Initialize NVM.
c. Select HCS, then Start.
d. When the message “The NVM has been initialized” message appears on the UI select Confirm.
e. Select Close, Exit (Keep Log), and Yes. The machine will reboot to “Ready to Copy”.
20. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS to
read information and connect.
a. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
b. Select Open Script File. Browse to the CD, Select 700-700i DCP V3.7 MN System Software folder.
Select Scripts folder. Select the HCSv11.csv script. Select Open Script File.
c. Select Create Snapshot.
d. Select Restore Snapshot.
21. Proceed to Section 8 to complete machine setup.
Section 8 – Restore Snapshot of Critical NVM
Restoring a snapshot is necessary if an initialization was preformed or the upgrade was not successful.

1. Enter 700DCP NVM Access/SW Download Tool from the PWS. Select Enter NVM Tool. Wait for the PWS to
read information and connect.
2. Select NVM Access in the DC Quick menu.
3. Select Open Snapshot. The NVM Access folder will open.
4. Open the file that was previously saved machineserialnumber_mm/dd/yr_700DCP_v19.mdb. If “Serial
Number Mismatch” message appears confirm the date and serial number of the file.
5. Select Restore Snapshot.
6. When the NVM write is complete, select File then Exit. Select Cancel do not save the MachineData file.
7. Proceed to Section 9 Machine Setting Verification.

Section 9 – Machine Setting Verification


1. Verify/change the following machine settings.
a. Enter Diagnostics from the UI. Press the Services button. Select 0 for five seconds and then Start. At
the login screen enter the CSE password and select Confirm.

b. Select Machine Status button. Select Tools tab


c. In the Feature column select Maintenance/Diagnostics, and NVM Read/Write. Check/change the NVM
Locations in Table 5.

2. After checking NVMs, select Close. Select Exit (Keep Log) and Yes, “It is OK the error history log is not cleared”.
• If NVM values were changed the machine will reboot to “Ready to Copy”.
• If no NVM values were changed: Press the Services button. Select 0 and Start to take the machine out
of the Diagnostic mode.
3. Proceed to Section 10 to complete Call Closeout.

Section 10 – Call Closeout

1. Confirm the system software. Select “Machine Status” on the UI. Select Machine Information and
Software Version. Compare the Status with Table 7.

Note: The top row of the table viewed on the UI screen is labeled “System” and is suppose to display the
release date of the software. This date does not display correctly on all machines and should be ignored. This
date has no detrimental effect on the operation of the software package.

2. Select close, Services button to return to Ready to Copy mode.


3. Restore the customer settings for the Low Power Mode and Sleep Mode timers.
a. Select 0 for five seconds and then Start. At the login screen enter the CSE password and select Confirm.
Select Machine Status button, select Tools.
b. On System Settings screen in the Group column select Common Service Settings. In the Features
column select Machine Clock/Timers.
c. Scan the column for and select Power Saver/Energy Saver. Select Change Settings.
d. Enter the recorded customer settings for the Low Power Mode and Sleep Mode timers.
e. Select Save and Close.
f. Select Services button. Select Reboot Now as required.
4. Power OFF the IOT. Reconnect the DFE network and Communications cables to the IOT. Power ON the IOT
5. Power ON the DFE if non-bustled configuration and confirm DFE Software version.

6. Using the customer settings in the Configuration Sheet printed in Section2 of this procedure, restore the customer
machine /network settings. It may be useful to print a new Configuration Report to compare with the initial report.
