We hereby, declare that the Public Relation project of “TVM Communication” is
original to the best of knowledge and has not been published elsewhere. This is for
the purpose to learn the PR in practical life and also understand the importance of
PR in business era.
Preface

I am a student of MBA Programme. I visited the “TVM Communication” during


the duration of 45 days and learned the most Importance Public relations tools like
press conference, press release, guest relation, event management, media relation
etc.

It made the great pleasure in the presenting the project report on the public relation
management is an area where theoretical knowledge and practical study begins of
conceptual clarity and also gives a clear cut idea about the public relation
objectives. It is an excellent opportunity for me to conduct this type of studies.

TVM Communication
At TVM Communication, public engagement is created through a strategic
approach using various communication channels to the advantage of their clients.
TVM Communication, the brain child of Mr. Vikas Thakkar is growing with an
envious pace. Under his guidance and dynamic communication skills, TVM is
bound to go places and we also worked according to him. In the Team of Mr.Vikas
Thakkar,there is Mr. Manish Thakor, Mr. Parth Barot and Mr. Siddharth Shah Who
Also help us to learn what is PR in practical life and how can we use the
Effectively PR.

The main tools of public relation of TVM Communication areMedia


Relation,Image Building, Press Conferences, Press Releases, Product
Launches and other Promotional activities.

Major PR tools we learned at TVM communication:

Media Relations is one of the complicated affairs in the PR profession, and it


requires a unique blend of pro-active networking, systematic thought processes,
and creativity. At TVM, we learn the importance of a media relation in PR. At
TVM, Mr. Vikas and team constantly stay in touch with the key media personnel
and stay updated with the latest advancements in the media circles.

At TVM, Mr. Vikas Thakkar and team recognized the importance of image. Today
image is everything and they strive to not only build the image but as well retain it
which is all the more challenging. They execute image building exercise by doing
thorough research keeping in mind our client’s businesses.
At TVM, they ensure that people get to hear what needs to be heard. Getting their
clients the much needed visibility is their primary objective and for that purpose
they manage and conduct organized press conferences according to the client’s
requirements. We also attained so many conferences at TVM and learned lots of
thing which we described further.
Promotion has become an integral part of all the companies. Putting forward the
best is pertinent in order to stay ahead of the competition. TVM PR helps them
toachieving this goal.

Beginning
So on the day of 26th December, we started our project. And on that day we first
time know that there are eighteen leading newspapers and almost seventy local
newspapers in Ahmedabad. And on the day one to the last day of our project we
read all the newspapers daily.

This activity was most helpful for us to improve our reading skill as well as
increase the knowledge about what is happening in the world.

Our works was that read all 85 to 90 newspapers and find the news of the TVM's
clients and then scan it and mail the news of their clients. Than make pages which
mentioned the newspapers name, page number, and the client's name. Andthen cut
the news from the newspaper and paste it to the different pages and make a one
kind of docket. And then send it to their clients. This process is completed during
the 7:30 to 9:00 a.m.

On the 28th the December, our sir Mr. Vikas Thakkar gave us some mobile
numbers of the PR experts who have lot of knowledge and experiences about PR
and tell us to takes the appointment with them and takes their views about PR. The
PR experts we met named Mr. Mithilesh Chudgar, Mr. Sachin Jain, Mr. Jay
Dave and Mr. ShekhSingh.

On that day we also visited some local stores like Kumar Prakashana, Havemor,
Idea Store and Aremoise Hotel and then we took their corporate communication
number to know that how they are doing
PR.Butduetotheotherworkshaslefttodo,wecan'tmetthecorporatecommunicationteam
ofthislocalstores.

FirstlywecontactwithMr.MithileshchudgarandalsowithMr.SachinJainandtookthea
ppointmentofbothonthedayaftertomorrowaccordingtotheirconvenienttime.
Then we took the appointment of Mr. Sekhar Singh on the Friday and also took
Mr.Jay Dave on Saturday.
Meeting with PR Experts

On the 29th December,Thursdayfirst we completed our whole tracking process and


then we met Mr. Mithilesh Chudgar at 11:45 a.m.

Mr. Chudgar is a one who is one of the best PR expert and performance coach at
center for excellence in performance. The view of Mr. Chudgar about PR is "PR is
all about building a brand of product and service".According to him“there is
no common tools of PR, and actually you don't needed PR tools if you have a
strong PR strategy”. Your strategy about how many ways you effectively doing
PR is Important then PR tools.

After completed a knowledgeable meeting with Mr. Chudger at 12:00 p.m., we


meet Mr. Sachin Jain at 12:10 a.m. Mr. Sachin Jain is an owner ofFortuna Public
Relation Pvt. Ltd. He share lot of his experiences about PR and also gave us a
guidance to how effectively doing PR. If we can say the meaning of PR in Mr.
Jain's words than "PR is spreading all about spreading awareness among the
peoples.

On the 30th December,Friday I Rajesh and my friend Divyajit meet Mr.shekhar


Singh who is corporate communication head of infibeam Pvt. Ltd. He is very
professionally in nature and having plenty of knowledge about PR. According to
him"PR is all about spreading the awareness among the peoples and not only
spreading the awareness but also create, build and maintain a positive image
about your product, service or an individual”.

According to him PR is doing for three things; an individual, products and services
and there is no need of PR when a product, service or an individual became
successful.

On next day we meet Mr. Jay Dave and also take his views and experiences about
PR.

We learn too much thing from this PR experts aboutPR and other then PR we also
learn the important things which is needed to live for your growth.

SKR Production

SKR PRODUCTION PVT LTD

Date: 9th January, 2017

Time: 7:30 to 10:00 p.m.

Our first press Release is SKR Production PVT. Ltd. SKR production launches 5
new Guajarati movies at the same time. And the celebrities of this release is
AliAsagar, Vikram Thakor, Kinjal Dave, Malhar Thakkar, Jignesh Kaviraj
and some others celebrities of Guajarati movies.

The chief guest of this release is ALI ASAGAR. On the event day I Rajesh Nayak
came to know actual Mr. Vikas Thakkar. His patience, way of dealing with media,
his relations are just excellent. He is very silent player.

I Gadhavi Divyajit and Rajesh Nayak start doing media registration and start
communicating with the Medias personal. So due to this we are able to build good
and strong relation with the media.

In this release we also learn how to invite media for celebrity interview and also
we learn how to organize the siting schedule. In this release we also meet some
celebrity like Ali Asgar, Malhar Thakkar, Kinjal Dave and Vikram Thakor. We
also get chance to communicate with them.

PRESS CONFERENCE No-02


MITSUBISHI PVT. LTD.

Date: 10th January, 2017.

Timing: 7.00 to 10.00 p.m.

On this date I Divyajit Gadhavi and Rajesh Nayak we are doing media registration
and communicating with the media people. On this date Mitsubishi launch new
A/C compressor. In this occasion more than 800 dealer are present there for
product launching.

In this occasion the co-partner of Mitsubishi Mr. Amit patel declare that Mitsubishi
open more than 50 exclusive showrooms in Gujarat and also selling 75000
Machines in Gujarat that is a record. In current year they are selling 54000
machines in Gujarat.

In this conference Divyajit ask question to Mr. Amit Patel in term of service
providing to the customers. Question is “In how muchtime duration you can solve
any machine regarding problem with the help of your services” Answer is they can
solve the problem within 24 hours.
PRESS CONFERENCE No.03

CARTOON NETWORK

Date: 13th January, 2017

Timing: 10.00 to 12.30 p.m.

On this date I Gadhavi Divyajit and Rajesh Nayak we attend this conference with
our TVM team. This conference organized at Nirman High school on the day
before Uttarayan. On this day Cartoon Network launch the two different cartoon
programs Roll No.21 and Ben 10 in new avatar. We first doing registration of
media’s personnel.

The special focus on uttrayan.In this conference we also distribute Kites and
threads. On this occasion the famous cartoon character Ben Tenision and Little
Krishna are there to entertain the children and providing him gifts according to the
rank in computation.

We also distribute gifts hampers and food pack to the media. On this occasion we
interact with the media and school teachers about their experience with the cartoon
network.

So this is all about our last press conference and all the detail information about the
press realize and press conference.
We also prepare a list of Reporters and Journalist those who are writing in different
sector in different newspapers. For example in the times of India the sport sector is
written by Rajesh Kumar.

So we find out the name and prepare one excel sheet.

Conclusion

We have visited TVM communication for period of 25 days. TVM is a PR Agency


which provide media relation, Press conference, press Release and Newspaper
blogs. They also providing tracking facility and regular monitoring of regular new.

We learn that what is PR and how Public relation is been done with the public and
media clients. In this 25 days we learn to communicate with media and PR
agencies.

We also learn to track the news and select the news according to the sector. We
learn that how to manage the event of media or how to manage the media people.
We also learn how to build the strong relation with the media and we also know
the different views from different PR Experts.We know the actual condition of the
market and how market respond to different PR Firms.

We read more than 85 Newspapers at regular basis. The relationship of Mr. Vikas
Thakkar (Owner TVM Communication) with media teach us that how to build
good team and create teameffort. We learn to maintain the proper balance between
our Back office work and market work.

We know how actual Press Conference and Press Release is work. We attend 03
Press conference and 01 Press release.

We made list of reporters, writers and bloggers in all sector of the newspaper. We
also done oral PEST analyses of TVM Communication in front of Mr. Vikas
Thakkar.

We also analyses the Press note of one tour and travel agency. Which is of Dubai
and Hong Kong. Travel agency name is “FlagTravel agency”.

“What is PR according to us?”

According to us PR is all about spreading the correct and clear information about
the firms, Services, products and Individual. PR builds the positive image in the
people’ mind and change the attitude of public.
