"The one who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd.

Those who
walk alone are likely to find themselves in places no one has ever been before”.
From our childhood up till now we have always asked for what others have. A bicycle
that my friend had I wanted to have the same. The backpack that my friend had I
wanted the same as well. When I couldn't learn to ride a bicycle like my friend did I
considered myself a failure. For me I wanted to be just like the people around me. I used
to think the only way I can satisfy myself is to imitate others and was a way of life for
me. The act of imitating always has consequences and at that age I wasn't ready to
accept.

When Allah created this world he asked his angels "Where I should hide the secrets of
earth"? The angels replied "Either hide them above the sky or beneath the sea" then
Allah said in return “No my humans are very intelligent they'll find it from there" so
where did Allah hide them then, in the heart of human beings. Hence, Allama Iqbal
states this ideology into these beautiful lines.
"Apne Mann Mein Doob Kar Pa Ja Suragh-E-Zindagi
Tu Agar Mera Nahin Banta Na Bann, Apna To Bann"

(Delve into your soul and there seek our life’s buried tracks
Will you not be mine? then be not mine, be your own right)

We stop in life when we get scared and uncertain. We are always afraid to be called as
different. We want to conform to the “normal” societal standards, however being
‘different’ in your own way is being normal. To always do what our heart tells you to do
and to know that failure is just the first step of success. I have come to a point that
where I would deem following the path of others and forgetting my own as a real failure
for me. That would not make me who I am. It will prevent me from being unique.
So for the one who wants to stand out in life he has to have believed in himself. Not
everyone is the same but every individual has something of their own .we just need to
find what works best for us .If a fish cannot climb a tree that doesn't mean it is less than
a monkey. A monkey indeed can't swim like a fish. Previously we used to think the sun
revolves around the earth and one individual believing in its own thinking changed our
perception. He proved it’s the other way around. Earth revolves around the sun! My
question to you is, wasn’t he afraid to be called stupid? Why did he believe in his own
theory? He channeled all his efforts in proving the world his own perception. This is
Nicolas Copernicus for you, a famous mathematician and an astronomer; this is the
power of individual thinking.

We see all our lives great examples of people who stood for themselves by listening to
their heart. They have left their name in this world for people to know how their self-
love and self belief made them achieve their dreams. So when are we going to start
loving our self then? All our life we always complain to God and compare ourselves with
others forgetting that one thing we do differently from others makes us who we are!
Then are we brave enough to dive into our hearts and to discover the secrets that are
hidden there. When you believe that you can deal things the way you want then life
would be in your control. You'll start overcoming your weaknesses using your strengths.
You know there's nothing that you want to do and you can't achieve.I follow the same
principle in life and that makes me Yasir Ahmed. So its time to wake up and tell life
there's something special to come.
