Respected Sir/Madam, ae pa Since the PERS constitute an ald to separation for training Appointment, transfer, promations, conformations or screening of officials, itis essential that these are writing most carefully by reported reporting and even by the countersigning officer according to the service rules 1. INSTRUCTION TO THE REPORTED OFFICER, ‘As the PER consist of five pats. So the frst and second parts should must be careful filled by the concerned reported upon concern officer. Along the certificate part of ACR. |. INthe certificate, the name ofthe present countersigning officer in whose period the PER is reported must be mentioned in dear words. ik. In parts ef the PER concern reported upon officer must mention the personal number which is ven to them by the Account office of Provincial Government. Ti The post held during the period (with 8PS ) means the date of regular/permanent appointment not adhoc/contract/isting Iv. Tae academic qualification required for ACR reported officer concern s only the subject in which they are eppointed by the Provincial Government. v. The paint of ACR period served means the total length of service from the date of appointment till now/working under reporting officer time from where the reporting officer sending his/her ACR must be correct. 2, INSTRUCTIONS TO THE REPORTING OFFICER. The reporting oficer before he/she embarks on the report writing work should try to comprehend the characteristics and the following points should be primarily considered in the PERS when they are gracing categorically about the reported upon officer. iL The personal qualities such as intelligence , confidence, acceptance of responsibilities, reliability financial responsibilty and ability ané knowledge of his/her own subject laws, rules, regulation ae considered most importantly Ti, The reporting officer must comprehend the part 4 according to the due demands of educational institution and inthis regard their way of teaching, communication though which they mould the students towards curricular and extra~ curricular activites. Il. After considering these standards inthe reported officer, their relationships with superior and with other staff community and ‘their work in team witha courtecus and calmful behavior, should be consider. IM. The most important point which is stated in the service laws also that whether any of the defects which are seen in the reported officer that any of his/her defects reported have already been brought to notice of the officer concern and also ‘whether he/she has not taken steps to remedy them. So according to this clause ofthe service law it's very important for those ‘eported officers who did not perform their duties such as showing no interest through thelr performance in curricular ang extra-curricular activities ofthe institution andthe results must be reported in the form of verbal explanation IV. Apart from verbal explanation 1 for “Average PER” and 2 written explanation before reporting “Adverse PER" would be given to the concerned officer and also enclosed 1 copy of these explanation letters with their PER [strictly considered and followed ‘otherwise PERs would not be considered) Vv. Aecording to the clause Il ofthe service lawe stamp and the signature ofthe reporting officer must be affixed. Vi. According to section 4 of service laws the name and designation of reporting officer should, therefore invariably be typed or ‘writen in block letters in the PER By interpretating the service rules the reporting officer should make unblased evaluation on the quality ofa performance evaluation made by the officer by categorizing the reports as exaggerated, fair o biased. This would evoke a greater sense of responsibilty from the respected reporting officers such as. ‘2.
