HISTORY
+ Korea is full of interesting traditional board games. It has its own version of chess, and Go is played here by the more intellectual
part of society. But people that are not a part of the intellectual society and have simpler education also have their games, and Nyout
is one of these.
+ Nyout is a race game, it is often played as a gambling game, for a stake. Even without the wager, it is still enjoyable as a game in its
own right.
+ The age and history of nyout is mostly not known. It's history in Korea was unknown until it was brought to international attention,
by the famed American ethnologist and board game historian Stewart Culin in 1895.

HOW TO START
+ To start you need the Nyout game board. The Nyout game board has spaces that are laid out in a circle, with more laid out as a
cross inside it.
+ There can be two, three or four players. 2 players have four pieces each, called horses, 3 players have three horses each, and 4
players play in partnerships, having two horses per player.
+ 4 casting sticks control the movement of the horses. The casting sticks are marked on one side and are blank on the other side.
+ Players have to throw the casting sticks to decide the order of play, the player who scores highest goes first. The value of a throw is
the number of marked sides showing. if no marked sides show, the score is 5.

RULES
+ The gameboard featuring the E (Eastern most point), W (Western most point), N (Northen most point), S ( Southern most point).
+ If a player's horse lands on the same square as another one of his horses, the two may then be moved as a pair. Up to 4 horses may
be joined in this way, if enough are in play.
+ If the sticks have been thrown twice in a row, the throws may both be used to move the same horse, or to move different horses
depending on what the player wants.
+ If a player's horse lands on an opponent's horse, the opponent's horse is captured and removed from the board, and they have
begin their race again.

GAMEPLAY
+ A player begins his turn by throwing the casting sticks. If a 4 or 5 is thrown, the casting sticks are thrown a second time and the
results of both throws are noted.
+ Once the casting sticks are thrown, the player can do one of the following :
+ 1.) A horse can be entered on the course, onto point 1-5 according to the value of the throw.
+ 2.) A horse already on the outer circle may be moved anti-clock wise by the number of points indicated, a horse who moves past
point N has finished its race is borne off the board.
+ 3.) A horse on E, S or W may be moved along one of the arms of the cross towards the centre, turning to N.
+ 4.) A horse already on the cross may be moved towards the centre, turning to N, being borne off the board if it passes N.

HOW TO WIN
+ The goal of the game is to complete the race with all your horses.
+ A player or a partnership of two players wins the game when all their horses have completed the race
and been borne off.
