a) Pupils might have problems understanding everything the teacher says.
Possible solutions – Teacher uses Romanian when necessary
Learning objectives:
-to give further practice in using the previously learned vocabulary
-to introduce and practice numbers from 1-10
-to have fun with English
Lesson Aims:
By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to:
-use properly the phrase” I’ve got a....” and names of toys;
-count from 1-10;
-identify correctly each number;
-correlate the written form in letters with the corresponding figure from 1-10;
-use the newly acquired vocabulary in order to speak about numbers and toys;
Activity 1:
Warm-up: Greetings, introductory conversation; setting the right atmosphere
T greets the Ps and asks ‘How are you today ?’, then plays the ‘Greeting Song’ on the laptop
Ps sing along using gestures.

Activity 2:
Feel in the bag (revision of the previously learned vocabulary)
T pulls toys one by one out of a bag; Ps have to guess what toy is it seeing just a small part of it.
They use the expression: ‘I’ve got a.....’, previously learned. T displays all the toys on the desk.

Activity 4:
T asks Ps to open their textbooks at page p 18; they have to draw ‘a ball, a car, a doll’ and then
the T asks the Ps to colour the ball red, the car blue and the doll pink, thus reviewing the colours.
