“Emergency Case Management”
Requirements :
1. This competition is open to medical students, general practitioners, or residents as individuals or
in groups.
2. Participants must submit their abstract(s) for early selection; those who pass this selection must
register themselves as participants of the symposium.
3. Participants may submit more than one abstract.
4. Abstract submitted may be case report or research.
5. You may choose whether to attend oral presentation or e-poster competition.
Selection Mechanism :
1. All participants must send their abstracts to our email address:
poster.e4ed.2019@gmail.com before December 12th, 2018
2. Participants who pass the abstract selection will be announced through the symposiumʼs website
and be contacted personally via e-mail.
3. Participants shortlisted for presentation must send their e-posters or
power point presentation as files to the committee email before January 20th, 2019
Abstract Criteria :
1. Abstracts must be in English
2. Abstracts must be typed with Times New Roman, font size 12 pts, space 1.5, and no more than
300 words.
3. Abstracts should include :
Title, typed in capitals and bold
Authors name and their affilations
(poster presenterʼs name should be underlined)
4. Maximum 5 keywords : use words which are contained in medicus index
5. For the research abstract, the following sub-topics must be included:
Introduction, Objectives, Method, Result, Conclusion
6. For the case report abstract, the following sub-topics must be included:
Introduction, Case Report, Discussion, Conclusion
Oral Presentation :
1. All oral presentation will be held on Saturday, February 2nd 2019.
2. The file must be sent in Power Point format
3. Duration of each presentation will be 20 minutes (10 minutes of presentation and
10 minutes of discussion)
4. Oral Presentation file should be made in 4:3 ratio
5. Kindly contact our e-mail in poster.e4ed.2019@gmail.com should you have any questions
regarding the scientific oral presentation competition.
E-Poster :
1. All E-Poster competition will be held on Saturday, February 2nd 2019.
2. File format should be image TIFF (*.tif/*.tiff)
3. Posters should be made in portrait orientation and using 9:16 ratio
4. Total size of the presentation should not exceed 10 MB
5. It is suggested that font size of the text should be at least 28 point
6. The contents of the posters include : title, author(s) name (s), affilations, and abstractʼs content
7. Duration of each presentation will be 15 minutes (10 minutes of presentation and
5 minutes of discussion)
