Question

A sound solid waste management system should consider management of waste from the point of
generation to the disposal site. Visit the nearest Town/City Council and discuss all the important aspects of
solid waste collection, transportation and disposal practiced by the local authority. In your discussion,
indicate the strengths and weaknesses of the current practice and give recommendations for better quality
service. Please indicate the date and name of the local authority visited.
