CAREER EXPERIENCE

DUPONT, Chestnut Run Plaza, Wilmington, DE April 2018 – December 2018

Research & Development Technician (Contract)
Provide critical support to PVAM customers and research projects involving pseudoplastic thick film pastes for use in low-
temperature/flexible substrate applications. Develop and execute work plans in coordination with Project Leads to deliver
quality solutions.
 Liaise with research leads, customer contacts, and technical/non-technical colleagues to drive consistency and
deliver high-quality results in all practices and procedures.
 Identify and resolve technical problems in alignment with all project objectives.
 Created and implemented a macro-enabled MS Excel spreadsheet that provides automatic multi-tier analysis &
reporting of complex cyclic-strain output files, thereby plotting resistance trends and providing statistical data
among replicates.

FERRO CORPORATION, King of Prussia, PA December 2017 – April 2018

Manufacturing Technician
Provided short-term assistance to a leading manufacturing company. Operated precision ceramic tape casting equipment
and all other related processing equipment. Ensured proper machine adjustments to meet unique thickness and surface
finish specifications. Consistently ensured all operations met site safety requirements and EHS standards.
 Conducted QC testing of ceramic tape, including measurements for green and fired dimensions, apparent
density, and dimensional stability.

SAINT-GOBAIN/CERTAINTEED CORPORATION, Malvern, PA May 2013 – May 2017

Test Engineer, Analytical Sciences Team
Played a key role in product development, product support, and manufacturing support by managing up to 20
simultaneous test requests involving varied physical, thermal, and chemical testing of fiberglass insulation according to
ASTM/ISO/MIL-SPEC and internal standards.
 Acquired, installed, and qualified new equipment for compliance with technical & EHS standards and collaborated
with vendors to solve equipment software and hardware issues.
 Coordinated, performed, and reported ICP, XRF, and UV/VIS compositional analyses of production glass and raw
materials across 5 North American fiberglass manufacturing facilities.
 Assisted in a site-wide move of analytical instrumentation and facilities from Blue Bell, PA to Malvern, PA.

ADDITIONAL CAREER EXPERIENCE

ARLON MICROWAVE MATERIALS, Bear, DE September 2012 – May 2013

Research & Development Technician (Contract)
Advanced product development efforts across the microwave materials group by providing technical insight, collecting
and interpreting data and observations, and method & SDS development. Operated pilot coating equipment and otherwise
assisted in scale-up of products from R&D to production.
 Batched aqueous PTFE/inorganic dielectric dispersions, prepared laminates, performed and analyzed all related
data to determine unfilled aqueous dispersions, coating performance, and electrical and thermal performance.
 Edited test procedures in an ISO9001:2008 certified environment and created detailed dispersion density
analysis methods for use in future regression analysis, with the intent to save cost by reusing dispersion that
would otherwise be scrapped.

HERAEUS, INC., West Conshohocken, PA September 2006 – March 2011

Research Engineer (January 2010 – March 2011)
Research Technician (September 2006 – January 2010)
Performed critical testing for a diverse range of research and technical projects. Qualified precious metals for use in Pd/Ag
hybrid conductive inks and performed characterization and testing of incoming raw material samples and in-house melted
glass.
 Coordinated, performed, and presented research at the IMAPS 2009 conference in San Jose, CA to promote the
Celcion Thermal Management System: a hybrid thick film packaging solution for devices such as high-power
LEDs and concentrated photovoltaics.
 Performed rotational rheological testing for use in QC testing, in simulation of repeated high-shear printing, and
to predict solid settling behavior.
 Authored SOPs and safety documentation to support new equipment.
