Interview on Students’ Rationale of Tagaytay City Science National High School

in Pursuing Medical Technology as their Aspired Profession

This aims to discover and understand the essence of reasons of high school learners
regarding to career choice. This is beneficial in a way that the high school learners show the factors
and influences of their choice in regards to their chose profession. This will give an effect to the
related experiences of other individuals pursuing the same career and raises the impact on
personalities of being fully convicted and committed in going straight along to the path of their
chosen profession.

The participants of the study are students from Grade 9 to 12 of Tagaytay City Science
National High School SY 2019-2020 wherein, five students in a selected section per year level were
invited, coming from different curricula.

There are no possible threats and risks in conducting this study. The interview will last only
for 15 – 30 minutes. This will be conducted during your vacant time within school premises. Your
responses will not affect your grades.

If the study was deemed successful , the results of this research can help the other students
who will also pursue the same profession, view and learn from the insights of the participants and
make appropriate preparations to ensure their abilities is suitable for what is required in the field.

After the research has been conducted, the result of the study can be found in the library.
Rest assured that the identity of the people involved in the study will be confidential. Their names
will not be published to ensure anonymity, also the information gathered will solely be used for the
research.

The interview that will be conducted is voluntary and the respondents will not be forced in
participating the study. They can refuse in partaking the interview.
