Because it is one of the rules of the present simple, to the first and third persons of the
singular add termination “IES”, “ES” or “S” at the end of the verb depending on the
case

Sujeto + verbo.

2. Negative
Sujeto + verbo auxiliar (to do) + auxiliar negativo (“not”) + verbo.
  For example

Verbo auxiliar (to do) + sujeto + verbo principal?

 For example
