Institute of Engineering & Management, Kolkata will host the National Symposium on Sustainable Waste Management
(NSSWM-2019) that will provide a forum for sharing knowledge among researchers and practitioners offering deeper insight into
the field of solid & liquid waste management including industrial waste, municipal solid waste, e-waste & plastics wastes, waste
water and sludge treatment. NSSWM-2019 will bring together and support the enthusiastic researchers in carrying out their work
forward for environmental sustainability. Solid waste management, sanitation and resources conservation are fundamental goals of
the United Nations, articulated in SDG Sustainable waste management which has direct bearing on the quality of life for all, but
more especially communities in cities. NSSWM-2019 has been designated as the official pre-event of the biggest and most
popular conference9th International Conference on Sustainable Waste Management towards Circular Economy(9thIconSWM – CE
2019) scheduled during November 27 - 30, 2019 by ISWMAW at KIIT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. NSSWM - 2019 will deliberate on
various issues related to innovation and implementation inwaste management including policies & strategies, segregation,
collection, transportation, biological and thermal and mechanical treatment technologies, LCA, climate change, circular economy,
research, business opportunities etc. Nearly 150 delegates from different states are expected to participate in the symposium. A
meeting will be held with the researchers for collaborating research project and paper writing during the event.
Kindly submit abstract within 200 words by 28.2.2019 10.3.19 and the extended abstract within 1500 words/4 pages by 20.3.2019.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE?

2. Acceptance of abstract by 28.2.2019 12th March, 2019.
3. Submission of extended abstract of four pages through email id by 20.3.2019.
4. Register with requisite fee by 08.04.2019 and attending the symposium

Incentives for the authors / participants: IMPORTANT GUIDELINES: Abstract submission:

1. All presented paper will be published as an abstract book by
CRI Publishing with ISBN number.
2. All submitted and accepted extended abstract will be asked for
submission of full paper to the coveted 9thIconSWM-CE 2019
at Bhubaneswar in Nov 2019.
3. The extended abstract will be published as proceedings books
of 9thIconSWM-CE2019 and the submitted full paper will be
selected for publication in books by Springer Nature and
special issues of SCI Journals.
4. NSSWM2019 participants (Not for UG students) will be
allowed 15% discounted registration fee to 9thIconSWM-
CE2019.
5. Awards for Three Best Paper &Three UG Best Poster.
1. Make sure that Title is in Times New Roman, font size 14
(Bold), Author’s names in font size 12, italicized,font size
10 for full affiliation, email, mobile number/s centre
aligned.
2. Abstract with four keywords should be of 200 words&
extended abstract within 4 pagesmaximum 1500 words..
3. After completing the above procedure save your file as
"LastName- FirstName_Title of paper" in word's default
file format (.docx/.doc) and mail the same to
(nsswm2019@gmail.com).
Extended Abstract submission guidelines:
1. The extended abstract should have following subsections:
Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, discussion
