 Rules for Admission
 The age limit for admission to LL.B. first semester shall be as per Lucknow University
Rules & Bar Council of India.
 A candidate will be eligible for admission to LL.B. first semester, if he has obtained
Bachelor's Degree from any University recognized by UGC with 10+2+3 system and
has secured not less than 45% marks (for OBC as per Lucknow University rules and
40% marks for SC/ST candidates.
 If the marks obtained at the Graduation examination by two or more candidates
are the same, in that case the percentage of marks secured by the candidate at the
Intermediate examination will be the determining factor of merit for admission and
if the percentage at the Intermediate level is also the same, the percentage of marks
obtained at the High School Examination will be the determining factor of merit for
admission.
 If the marks obtained at the High School or equivalent examination by two or more
are the same, in that case the candidate senior in age will get preference in the merit
list.
 Period in between the year of passing qualifying examination and the year of
application for admission to LL.B. first semester shall be treated as gap and 02% marks
shall be deducted for each gap year from the percentage of qualifying degree subject
to maximum gap of three years.
 For a candidate passing Post-Graduate Examination in continuation of the qualifying
examination, the time of Post Graduate Examination of two years will not be treated
as gap.
 Admission Fee for the Course: - As per Lucknow University Norms
 Prohibition to register for two regular course of study: No students shall be allowed
to register for a law degree programme with any other graduate or post graduate
degree/diploma or even a certificate course run by Lucknow University or any other
University or an Institute for academic or professional learning.
 Attendance: No student of LL.B. programme shall be allowed to take the end
semester examination if the student concerned has not attended minimum of 75% of
the classes held as also the moot court room exercise, tutorials and practicals
conducted in the subject taken together. Provided that if a student for any
exceptional reasons failed to attend 75% of the classes held in any subject, the
Principal of the college, may allow the student to take the test if the student
concerned attended at least 66% of the classes held. Vide the Bar Council of India
Rule (Part-V), Section B (3) the students are required to put in the minimum
attendance 66% of the lectures in each of the subjects.
 Overriding Effect: The relevant UGC/BCI/Lucknow University Rules (as amended
from time to time) shall be binding on the College. All disputes regarding
interpretation of provisions of this Ordinance shall be referred to Admission
Committee of the College, whose decision shall be final.
