Abstrak
Kesimpulan
Body image atau citra diri diibaratkan sekumpulan keyakinan,
pikiran, dan perasaan (bersifat melekat) yang dimiliki oleh diri sendiri,
baik citra diri ideal maupun citra diri yang dirasakan individu terhadap
dirinya. Citra diri ideal adalah sebuah tujuan dan harapan seseorang untuk
apa yang seseorang inginkan. Persepsi negatif terhadap diri sendiri
berkaitan dengan citra tubuh yang buruk. Sebaliknya, manusia yang
memiliki konsep diri yang positif akan fisiknya maka persepsi citra
tubuhnya akan jauh lebih baik. Dalam hal ini, bukan berarti manusia
semata-mata boleh cepat puas dengan tubuhnya, tetapi konsepnya disini
memungkinan untuk menerima dan merasa nyaman dengan fakta yang
ada.
