There are many ways of improving vocabulary but here where asking to describe only five ways,
before I start describing I will like to give the definition of word vocabulary simply means all the
word that someone knows along with their meaning. I progress my vocabulary through many ways
as fellow
1. Quiz: The word quiz is a test or competition in which you answer question. Quiz is a very good
way for improving vocabulary.
2. Lesson: Is a way for improving vocabulary the word lesson is defined as the episode of time in
which student are taught about a subject in school or an institution from the definition you will
understand that the word lesson is a good way for you to improve your vocabulary.
3. Making used of dictionary: By the making used of dictionary frequently you will pick up your
vocabulary; the word dictionary is a book that gives an alphabetical list of word and their meanings
or translation.
4. Reading of Newspaper: I get better vocabulary by reading of story and history, the word
newspaper means a set of large printed sheets of folded paper containing news, articles, and other
information that is available every day or every week.
5. Used of narrative Speech: By using of narrative speech you will recuperate your vocabulary, the
word speech simply means an occasion when someone speaks to an audience or the word that
someone speaks to an audience.

I have learned many things through module but before I start comment I have to start giving the
definition of the word module. From the oxford dictionary module is define as a unit that can form
part of a course of a study, especially at a college or university, from the definition you may
understand that module is a unit that form a part and in this school we have three module numeracy
skill, literacy skill and technology skill this means we have three unit that can form part of course
but now I have to comment what I have learned through literacy skill module, through literacy
skill module I have learned many thing but let me define what literacy and skill mean literacy
means the ability to read and write and skill means the ability to do something well, usually as a
result of familiarity and training .
I have learned how to summarize essay, summarize means to supply a short explanation of the
most important information or features of something and essay means a short piece of writing on
a particular subject, especially by a student.
How to scanning, comparing and contrasting information, scanning means a valuable talent that
will save time while searching for evidence to support your paper.
Comparing means to consider the ways in which people or thing are similar or different and
contrasting means a noticeable difference people or thing. And
How to used idiom, idiom means a fixed appearance that has a simile meaning (once one proposal
illustration etc represents another) for instance ‘have your feet on the ground’ is an idiom meaning
of ‘to be sensible’

A Good study technique that I am used with there is many, but before I go further I will like to
know the definition of the word study and technique. Study simply means the process of learning
about a subject or problem in other way study means the work that you do, or subject that you can
study, while you are at school, college, or university.
Technique simply means a method of doing something using a special skill that you have
developed; a skill that a person developed by himself purposely because of his/her like to study.
Asking question by asking question you will study different thing but let me know the definition
of the two words together asking and question. Asking question is the process of asking someone
question in order to get information from him for instance when a lecturer having the lecture and
I am not understand somewhere else I will ask him because of the I am not understand the point
through this I study more over.
Hard working the word hard working is defined as the process of putting more endeavors into your
work or a program; hard working is a good study technique for example whenever you tide up
your belt, you will make more endeavor in your study.
Concentrate to concentrate you give all attention to the point where you want archived your aim,
by the definition of the word concentrate is a method of giving all attention to the thing that you
are doing, giving the concentration to the lecture is a good study technique for example when a
lecturer having a lecture I will pay my attention to him I will not playing or I will not talking when
the lecture is taking place.
Participating to participating means to take part in something that you are doing for example
whenever lecture is taking place you are supposed to contribute, this is a good study technique, if
you are contributing in a class you will study more a lot.

Before I start listing ten words and to give either their synonym or antonym and to provide five
synonyms and five antonyms I like to give the definition of the two key word synonym and
antonym. Synonym is defined as the word which has a similar meaning to each other. Or is a word
with similar or identity meaning to another. The word antonym is defined as the word that means
the opposite of another word, or is commonly known as the opposite.
