ACE Sugar Mill Hydraulic Systems are based on over 30 years of experience in sugar, paper, steel & other rolling mill applications. In sugar
mills the main objective is to apply hydraulic pressure on the crushing roll hydraulic mill caps.

The system includes Hydraulic power pack, Control panel - gauge board & Hydro-pneumatic accumulators.

HYDRAULIC POWER PACK

Electric push button operated hydraulic power pack includes oil reservoir, breather, oil filter, check and relief valves. The High volumetric
capacity piston pump coupled to a heavy duty motor ensures start under full hydraulic back pressure without stalling. Hydraulic fluid is supplied
from the reservoir to the control panel. Adequate arrangements are made for filtration of the oil and for keeping the atmospheric air entering the
reservoir to be free from moisture. The reservoir is fitted with a visual fluid level gauge to indicate the oil level. A pressure gauge is provided to
show the system pressure.

CONTROL PANEL
The control panel allows the visual monitoring of hydraulic pressure on all the mills. The controls allow the operator to adjust the pressures on
the mill top rolls. There is a main system pressure gauge and a pressure gauge for each accumulator. Shut off flow control valves allow the
operating pressure in accumulators to be adjusted. Mill systems for Sugar Mill allow the same hydraulic pressure to be applied to the off and
crown side cap rams or the pressure to be independently adjusted. Mini sugar mill or Khand mill systems allow independent pressure setting of
each mill, however the same pressure is set for both the off & crown side. A drain valve allows the fluid to be drained back to the reservoir.

HYDRO-PNEUMATIC ACCUMULATORS
Efficient, heavy duty accumulators allow the pressure to be maintained on the mill heads. The volumetric changes due to varying thicknesses
of the cane are absorbed into the hydraulic accumulators.
