SUMMER TRAINING is an integral part of the curriculum and forms a vital aspect of overall
development of management students. It allows the students to experience and learn the corporate
culture, first hand. Towards the end of the first year of PGDM, the students are required to
undergo a corporate training of duration of 8-10 weeks. The specific objectives are as follows:
The following steps are essential for proper preparation of report and its submission.

You have been allotted an internal supervisor, who will help you in developing your
project report. You are required to provide the name, contact number and e-mail id of your
guide in the company to your internal supervisor.

the project. It is mandatory to meet the supervisor personally once in a fortnight. Students
undergoing training in far off places will contact the supervisors telephonically or through
mail on regular intervals.
Details of contacts made with the supervisor/guide from the industry/others in connection with
the training should be maintained and provided in the report. It should be presented in a
tabular form indicating name, designation, company name, phone number and e-mail id etc.
