3. What is defragmentation?
Defragmentation is what is used by a PC to rearrange files and data to the correct place.
Some computers you have to do this more often than others. A compute application
called ‘Defragmentation and optimize drives’, normally takes a few hours to complete
where it goes through every single file to rearrange to where it is supposed to be so
they data is everywhere on the drive. Defragmentation is also used by computers to
keep the data and files necessary together so that your hard drive can access these
files accordingly so that the hard drive can access the files faster instead of it having to
read the files from all the way on the other side of the drive just to access files which
‘should’ be in the same place.
7. What term is used when making sure the files on one drive are the same as the files
on another?
You try to transfer the same files on one drive, it should show you an error saying that
the files are the same and do you want to replace them.
