A good amount of students from different year levels will represent their batch in
the upcoming Intramural 2018 to be held at Pasay City National Science High
School all throughout September 17-21, 2018.
There are four main categories that will be held; Sports, Athletics, ‘Tagisan ng
Lahi’ and the Field Demonstration Competition. The sports included are
badminton, volleyball, basketball, table tennis, and chess. The games and sports
under Athletics and ‘Tagisan ng Lahi’ are still yet to be clarified.
The representatives will be chosen, if not yet, by their MAPEH teachers. Some of
the athletes were chosen based on their background on their respective sports.
As early as last summer, several athletes were already training for the
competitions. Their hardwork and perseverance will be their motivation for this
upcoming Intramurals 2018.
Walking alone gets you to your destination faster. But walking with a team makes
your journey memorable.
Senior High Grade 12 claimed championship title in the Obstacle Relay game
during the 16th Foundation Day of Pasay City National High School, held at the
school's gymnasium, June 25, 2018.
The game was divided into two batch. The first batch consists of grade levels: 7,
8 and 9. While the second batch consists of the grade levels: 10, 11 and 12. The
grade 9 students finished the obstacle relay first among the first batch; while the
grade 12 finished first for the second batch.
The final round was when the grade 9 team and grade 12 team competed for the
championship title. There was a complication during this round because some
members of the grade 9 team were not doing the tasks for each obstacles
correctly.
Due to this conflict, the game officiators conducted a rematch. In the end, the
Grade 12 Seniors won the game by completing the final task; shooting the
basketball.

With the number of days left, to prepare for the school’s annual sport event –
Intramural or often called Intrams – slowly coming to an end, every PaScian that
will participate are endlessly molding themselves to their goals.
Even with the hectic schedule, Pascians still can manage to fit in an hour, or two,
of training and practicing for their respective sports or categories.
It is only a matter of time before a batch (year level), claims the cup of victory;
and nobody, not even the 7th graders, are willing to give up. A true competition
wherein a healthy sportsmanship attitude is to be expected from everyone.
