SHS Grade 12 Reigns in the 2018 Obstacle Relay

Maxyne Ymmanuel T. Bocabel

Walking alone gets you to your destination faster. But walking with a team makes
your journey memorable.

Senior High Grade 12 claimed championship title in the Obstacle Relay game
during the 16th Foundation Day of Pasay City National High School, held at the
school's gymnasium, June 25, 2018.

The game was divided into two batch. The first batch consists of grade levels: 7,
8 and 9. While the second batch consists of the grade levels: 10, 11 and 12. The
grade 9 students finished the obstacle relay first among the first batch; while the
grade 12 finished first for the second batch.

The final round was when the grade 9 team and grade 12 team competed for the
championship title. There was a complication during this round because some
members of the grade 9 team were not doing the tasks for each obstacles
correctly.

Due to this conflict, the game officiators conducted a rematch. In the end, the
Grade 12 Seniors won the game by completing the final task; shooting the
basketball.

merged on August 5, 1976, creating the National Basketball Association (NBA).
4. In the 2010–2011 season, the Cleveland Cavaliers set a league record by
losing 26 basketball games in a row.
5. Before 1923, basketball teams could choose which player would shoot a free
throw after a foul rather than the player who was fouled.
6. The average height of all NBA players is just under 67 inches for the men and
just over 57 inches for women.

Maxyne Ymmanuel T. Bocabel

Determination. Perseverance. Hardwork. These are the things that makes up a

PaScian for the upcoming Intramurals 2018.

With the number of days left, to prepare for the school’s annual sport event –
Intramural or often called Intrams – slowly coming to an end, every PaScian that
will participate are endlessly molding themselves to their goals.

Even with the hectic schedule, Pascians still can manage to fit in an hour, or two,
of training and practicing for their respective sports or categories.

It is only a matter of time before a batch (year level), claims the cup of victory;
and nobody, not even the 7th graders, are willing to give up. A true competition
wherein a healthy sportsmanship attitude is to be expected from everyone.
