1. Ventolin Inhaler
 You will get 1 tube of ventolin inhaler containing 0.1 mg / 100 mcg salbutamol sulphate
(200 doses of spray). Used to treat asthma and reduce shortness of breath. Used only
when your asthma relapse
 This medicine may be used for 1 month after the packaging is opened
 Priming: Before first or if not for more than 14 days, or if dropped: 4 sprays. Prime
inhaler prior to first use, and whenever the inhaler has not been used for more than 2
weeks, by releasing 4 test sprays into the air (away from face).
 Clean up: at least weekly
a. Remove the dust cap and canister
b. Wash the mouthpiece with warm running water for at least 30 seconds
c. Turn the mouthpiece upside down and repeat
d. Shake to remove excess water and allow to air dry
e. Replace canister. Shake the inhaler well and spray once into the air. Replace cap
 Use the medicine 1 spray 2 times a day. Maximum use of 4 sprays a day. Shake it first.
 How to use inhaler:
1. Wash your hands with soap and air
2. Hold the inhaler upright
3. Open the inhaler cap and position the bottom of the inhaler mouth and the head on
top
4. shake the inhaler 3-5 times
5. Breathe out fully through the mouth, away from the inhaler
6. Hold the inhaler as it appears on the picture. Place the mouth of the inhaler /
mouthpiece between the teeth and raise the lips
 7. Breathe in to insert the inhaler so that the drug containing the inhaler can go inside.
Press the canister down and inhale deeply and slowly through the mouth
8. Hold your breath for as long as possible, usually up to 10 seconds
9. Breathe out. Rinse mouth by gargling with water
10. Wait before repeating, usually 30 to 60 seconds
 Side effects : coughing, dizziness, chest pain, mouth and throat discomfort, but not for
long. If you continue, stop taking medication and call your doctor immediately

2. Epexol Tab
 You will get 10 tablet of epexol tab containing ambroxol HCl 30 mg. Used to help remove
sputum and relieve cough. Used for 3 days
 Drink three times a day one tablet after meals
 Side effects: digestive/gastrointestinal disorders, gastric ulcer so the medicine should be
taken after meals
 Store in medicine box, room temperature, avoid direct sunlight and out of reach of
children

3. Seretide Diskus
 You get 1 piece of seretide discus containing Salmeterol xinafoate 50 mcg and
fluticasone propionate 500 mcg. Used to treat asthma and reduce shortness of breath.
Used for 30 days with contents of 60 doses of inhalation
 The Medicine may be used for 1 month after packaging is opened
 Use twice a day 1 inhale every 12 hours
 How to use:
1. Check the counter dose to see the remaining dose
2. open the inhaler by rotating the discus using thumbs grip until hear a click
3. Hold the inhaler horizontally, Then slide the lever from left to right until it clicks
4. Breathe out fully through the mouth, away from the inhaler
5. Place the funnel between the teeth and cover with the lips. inhale quickly and deeply
6. Hold the breath for 10 seconds then remove the breath normally with the position
away from the inhaler
7. Repeat the process after 30 seconds
8. Close the inhaler by rotating it
9. Rinse mouth by gargling with water then discarded, do not swallow
• Side effects: dry mouth, discomfort in the throat

4. Bisolvon tablet / Graxine

 You will get 10 tablets of bisolvon / graxine tab containing bromhexin hcl 8 mg /
bromhexin hcl 8 mg and guaifenesin 100 mg. Used to reduce the sputum and relief cough.
The medicine can be use for 3 days
 Drink three times a day one tablet after meals
  Side effects: digestive/ gastrointestinal disorder, nausea, vomiting
 Store in medicine box, room temperature, avoid direct sunlight and out of reach of
children

5. Non pharmacological therapy

 If the weather is cold, do not forget to wear a jacket or warm clothes
 Use a mask when you out of the house or when you cleaning the house or while playing
with your pets
 No smoking
 Keep the environment clean

INDONESIA

1. Ventolin Inhaler
 Anda akan mendapatkan ventolin inhaler yang berisi salbutamol sulfat 0,1 mg/100 mcg
sebanyak 1 tabung inhaler (200 dosis spray). Digunakan untuk mengobati serangan asma
dan mengurangi sesak. Digunakan hanya pada saat asma kambuh
 Obat dapat digunakan atau bertahan selama 1 bulan pemakaian setelah kemasan dibuka
 Priming: Sebelum digunakan pertama atau jika tidak digunakan selama lebih dari 14 hari,
atau jika dijatuhkan : 4 semprotan. Pembersihan : Setidaknya setiap minggu.
a. Lepaskan penutup yang debu dan tabung.
b. Cuci corong dengan air hangat selama minimal 30 detik.
c. Balikkan corong ke atas dan ulangi.
d. Kocok untuk menghilangkan kelebihan air dan biarkan udara kering.
e. Ganti/pasang tabung. Kocok inhaler dengan baik dan semprotkan sekali ke udara.
Ganti/pasang tutup.
 Aturan pakainya digunakan 1 semprotan 2 kali sehari. Maksimal penggunaan 4
semprotan dalam sehari. Kocok tabung sebelum digunakan.
 Cara menggunakan inhaler :
1. Cuci tangan dengan sabun dan air
2. Pegang inhaler tegak
3. Buka penutup inhaler dan posisi mulut inhaler dibawah dan bagian kepala berada
diatas
4. Kocok inhaler 3-5 kali
5. Hembuskan napas sepenuhnya melalui mulut, jauhkan dari inhaler
6. Pegang inhaler sesuai yang tertera pada gambar. Letakkan mulut inhaler/ corong
inhaler di antara gigi dan rapatkan bibir
7. Tarik nafas ketika anda menekan inhaler agar obat yang terdapat di inhaler bisa
masuk kedalam. Tekan canister ke bawah dan tarik napas dalam-dalam dan perlahan
melalui mulut
8. Tahan napas selama mungkin, biasanya hingga 10 detik
9. Hembuskan napas . Bilas mulut dengan cara berkumur-kumur dengan air
 10. Tunggu sebelum mengulangi, biasanya 30 hingga 60 detik
 Efek samping : batuk, pusing, nyeri dada, menimbulkan rasa tidak nyaman pada mulut
dan tenggorokan, tetapi tidak berlangsung lama. Jika berlanjut, hentikan penggunaan
obat dan segera hubungi dokter
 Simpan di kotak obat, suhu ruang, terhindar dari sinar matahari langsung dan dari
jangkauan anak-anak

2. Epexol Tab
 Anda akan mendapatkan epexol tab yang berisi ambroksol HCl 30 mg sebanyak 10
tablet. Digunakan untuk membantu mengeluarkan dahak dan meredakan batuk.
Digunakan selama 3 hari
 Diminum tiga kali sehari satu tablet setelah makan
 Efek samping : gangguan pencernaan, tukak lambung sehingga obatnya harus diminum
setelah makan
 Simpan di kotak obat, suhu ruang, terhindar dari sinar matahari langsung dan dari
jangkauan anak-anak

3. Seretide Diskus
 Anda mendapatkan seretide diskus yang berisi Salmeterol xinafoate 50 mcg dan
fluticasone propionate 500 mcg sebanyak 1 buah. Digunakan untuk mengobati asma
dan mengurangi sesak. Digunakan selama 30 hari dengan isi 60 dosis inhalasi
 Obat dapat digunakan selama 1 bulan setelah kemasan dibuka
 Digunakan dua kali sehari 1 hisapan setiap 12 jam
 Cara penggunaan :
1. Cek counter dosis untuk melihat dosis yang tersisa
2. buka inhaler dengan memutar diskus menggunakan jempol hingga terdengar bunyi
klik
3. Pegang inhaler secara horizontal, kemudian geser tuas dari kiri ke kanan hingga
berbunyi klik
4. buang nafas sampai habis dengan menjauhi inhaler
5. Letakkan corong diantara gigi dan tutup dengan bibir. Hisap dengan cepat dan
mendalam
6. Tahan nafas selama 10 detik kemudian keluarkan nafas secara normal dengan posisi
menjauhi inhaler
7. Ulangi proses setelah 30 detik
8. Tutup inhaler dengan memutarnya
9. Bilas mulut dengan cara berkumur-kumur dengan air kemudian dibuang, jangan
ditelan
 Efek samping : mulut kering, rasa tidak nyaman pada tenggorokan
 Simpan di kotak obat, suhu ruang, terhindar dari sinar matahari langsung dan dari
jangkauan anak-anak

4. Bisolvon tablet / Graxine

  Anda mendapatkan bisolvon tab/graxine yang berisi bromheksin hcl 8 mg/bromheksin
hcl 8 mg dan guaifenesin 100 mg sebanyak 10 tablet. Digunakan untuk mengencerkan
dahak. Dapat digunakan selama 3 hari
 Diminum tiga kali sehari satu tablet setelah makan
 Efek samping : gangguan pencernaan, mual, muntah
 Simpan di kotak obat, suhu ruang, terhindar dari sinar matahari langsung dan dari
jangkauan anak-anak
5. Terapi non farmakologi
 Jika cuaca dingin, jangan lupa memakai jaket atau pakaian tebal
 Menggunakan masker saat keluar rumah atau saat membersihkan rumah atau saat
bermain dengan hewan peliharaan
 Jauhi merokok
 Jaga kebersihan lingkungan
 Istirahat yang cukup
 Kurangi pekerjaan yang terlalu berat, hindari lelah
