It is with great pleasure that I am writing to recommend Airess Stewart as a prospective

administrator within your district. I have had the opportunity to work closely with Airess Stewart,
within various roles in the Farmington Public School District. Over the 14 years I have worked
with Airess, I have known her to be an integral part of our district. Her roles have included
Social Worker, Instructional Consultation Facilitator (ICT), and currently our district’s School
Improvement/MTSS Lead. Due to the positive contributions she has shared in our classrooms,
schools, and district, Airess is an excellent candidate for an administrative role within your
district.

Throughout her various roles, Airess demonstrates the skills and strategies of a
collaborative, thoughtful, and confident leader. She exhibits a positive attitude and initiative in
supporting student learning, guiding teacher capacity, while implementing our district’s goals.
As the district’s MTSS Lead, Airess facilitates monthly meetings, communications, and the
professional development with the district’s 15 K-12 schools. Her guidance in directing our
district work within the MTSS process, has been unwavering, allowing for a new direction in our
problem solving process through the Michigan State Blueprint process, all to encourage a
district wide focus on student achievement. She is committed to working with all stakeholders in
this area, and is always available to work shoulder to shoulder with individuals, teams and
schools.

Airess is a nurturing and caring individual who is able to encourage and support students
and colleagues in a professional manner. She is consistently reflective and mindful of her
practices and interactions. I know Airess will have continued success with students, parents,
and her colleagues due to her professional and caring qualities.

I would encourage you to look closely at Airess Stewart’s strengths as an individual,

collaborative team member, and leader. She would be an asset to any school community. If
