LightCast Interiors is a very anticipated establishment that will provide


memorable interior design services for homes, corporations and government
businesses offices in the Tidewater/Hampton Roads area of Virginia.

LighCast Interiors is an interior design service for clients seeking the best
quality and reliability in Virginia. The focus of the company is primary
residences, beach vacation homes, government establishments and
businesses, something they put their whole heart into. The experience you
gain are: personal attention during the whole design development and
access to a plethora of resources and products through special purchases of
furniture, fabric, and accessories.

The experience and friendly faces that a client will gain from LightCast
Interiors is unforgettable. Gaining advise, inspiration, and a transforming
process in their home or business environment that will be unique and
specifically personalized to their every need, desire and dream that they
never could have imagined.

Description of Business

LighCast Interiors is a woman veteran owned business that will offer all-
inclusive interior design services for home and office. This business will
assist military and Virginian clients with any guidance and support needed
in developing a desired design concept of their venture, to the individuals
that wishes someone to take it from concept to complete conception. We
are here for you.
The owner Christina E. Vitale is a USN military veteran, who knows how
stressful designing a home or business can be while serving our country.
The motivation behind our company is to help ease the military focused
community of Virginia.

Business Expertise

Our interior design company has a very accountable military and college
level of expertise. The staff consist of veterans, NCIDQ/IIDA/ASID and BFA
Interior Design graduates from all around the world. Our architectural
repetition and performance have been recognized with award winning
projects from some of Virginias leading corporations.
Interior design is a multilayered profession that includes conceptual
development, communicating with the stakeholders of a project and the
organization and execution of the design.

Working both individualistically and with the architects, the interior team
constantly produces and deliver pioneering design concepts.

Most of the Interior Design/remodeling or supporting material/upholstery businesses are spread out
and have a minimal competitive bearing. There are only a few Interior Design companies that really
have a competitive outpour. None of them really focus on veterans like I do and aren’t veteran owned,
so I think my firm with stand out and really capture the perfect audience.
Costs, Success &Advertisement
• Cost:
– Flat Rate: Based on your project size and needs, we would quote a flat fee for our services. The contract would
clearly list what would be included for this fee, along with how many revisions are available and the contract’s
expiration date (when the project will be completed).
• Success factor:
– Staying innovative and passionate with every client and employee. I truly have been waiting 16
years to become and interior design so I want it to show with every project and inspirational
factor within this interior design firm.
– The local trends of beach vibes and modern updating to so many homes in Virginia is the current
trend that I can’t wait to tackle and approach that it excites me talking about it.

LETTER OF AGREEMENT
This agreement is between interior designer Christina E. Vitale of LighCast Interior Designs
and Client Caryn Alonso hereafter ‘The Parties’. The purpose of this agreement is to define the scope of services and
the schedule of payments agreed upon by each party.

This letter confirms The Parties agreement for the interior design services to be performed by LightCast Interior
Design to complete the project at the client’s address above. The design conceptions and implementation shall
include all interior spaces as follows:

• Salon station area and Salon Entryway.

Scope of Work:
Scope of Services shall consist of the following: Complete design concept providing specifications of all finishes and
materials; provide floor plan layout of interior spaces and elevation drawings where necessary; selections of fabrics,
finishes, furnishings, and window treatments; specification of wall coverings finishes and colors; observe production
and fabrication for workroom requirements; observe on site installations; assist in the preparation of the project
budget and project schedule; and all other design related criteria for the interior spaces. Design implementation
does not include selection of accessories other than during normal shopping for general specification purposes.
Additional services shall be billed at the hourly rate of $60.
All purchases made through LightCast Interior Design will be submitted to you for approval and signed
authorization. All purchases will require a deposit (usually 50%) prior to the placement of such orders. The balance
of payment is due upon notification of delivery of merchandise.

Note: Designers role is to expedite and double check your purchases and to follow up in case of loss or damage.
Please bear in mind that while we do everything to keep deliveries on schedule, we cannot answer for those vendors
who do not make promised delivery dates.

Project Overview:
Drawings, specifications and schedules are and shall remain the property of LightCast Interior Design whether the
project for which they are made is executed or not. You shall be permitted to retain copies of your drawings and
specifications for information and reference in connection with your use and occupancy of the project. You shall not
use the drawings and specifications on other projects, for additions to this project, or for completions of this project
by others (provided we are not in default of this agreement), except by agreement in writing. You shall indemnify
and hold us harmless from all claims, damages, losses or expenses arising out of or resulting from any use by you or
our designs, drawings and specifications and schedules on other projects, for additions to this project, or for
completions of this project by others, whether we have authorized such use or not.

Design Fees:
Designer reserves the right to take photographs of the project areas prior to, during, and at the completion of the
project with due respect to the client’s privacy. The client’s identity shall remain confidential and shall not be
disclosed to any third party without prior consent of the client. Designer shall be named and credited if any
descriptions or photographs of the project are published. The agreement may be terminated by either party upon
written notice should the other party substantially fail to perform in accordance with the terms of this agreement.
The designer shall be compensated for services performed prior to notice of suspension at an hourly rate of $60.

Remuneration for design services shall be governed by the following compensation guidelines:

• For the professional services previously described, the designer’s remuneration shall be (INSERT HERE) to be

• Any disbursements made by the designer on behalf of or requested by the client shall be billed to the client on bi-
