New Delhi, the 5tlj September, 2012
US, R. 681(E).— In exercise ofthe powers conferred
by sub-section(l) of Section 155 of Sashastra Seema Bal
Act, 2007 (53 of 2007), the Central Government hereby
makes the following amendments in the notification ofthe
Ministry of Home Affairs, G.S.R. No. 560 (E) dated,
31-7-2009, relating to rule 41 ofthe Sash astra Seema Bal
Rules, 2009, namely:—
In Sashastra Sccma Bal Rules, 2009, after sub-rule (4)
of rule 41, the following proviso shall be inserted-
"Provided that the order of suspension shall be
reviewed by the authority competent to modify or
revoke the order before expiry of ninety days from
the effective date of suspension. Subsequent review
shall be made before the expiry ofthe extended period
of suspension. Extension of suspension shall not be
for a period exceeding 180 days at a time."
