RTI Coordinator 2 years- Designed and ran the high school RTI program,
including creating professional development for staff, running data
meetings, supporting teacher application of data acquisition, analysis and
interpretation; managing program budget and reporting program
progress to administration and school board.
Leadership Team Member 6 years- collaborated with other lead teachers
to work on the district’s visioning project and strategic plan, as well as
helped determine and run professional development for the district.
Alternative Education Teacher 6 years- created and ran the Alternative
Education program for 7-12th graders. Designed a program that allowed
students to gain credit recovery in all content areas using a proficiency
based model, offered experiential and online learning opportunities in all
content areas, worked with students and their parents/guardians in
creating healthy and effective habits geared toward student success in
school and beyond. Co-taught a world history course in order to support
the transition of alternative education and former special education
students back into the mainstream classroom. Managed a program
budget and reported program success to administration and school board.
Ran the school Garden Club and organized annual fundraisers to support
district wide learning through gardening.
