ADJUST ANTENNA TRIM

1. Se ect a weak radio station near 1400 on radio scale.

2. Adjust antenna trrnmer capacitor screw (A) to obtarn

REMOVE AND INSTALL SPEAKERS

1 Remove lour outer screws (A) and remove speaker

assembly (B) from inner roof.

2 Disconnect speaker wires.

3. Remove lour inner screws (C) to separate speaker gr I e

lrom speaKer.

4. Check contacls on speaker lo see ii they are f rmly

soldered Repar or replace as necessary.

OUTLET SOCKET
1. Remove console cover
2. D sconnect wires (A) at socket (B).

3. Remove hex. nut on sock€,t and remove socket from

console.

4. Beplace sockel, ii not operaling correctly. Be sure socket

s properly grounded {C) on SOUND-GABD Body floor.

OUTLET SOCKET
AND INSTALL ELECTRICAL

1. Check power to the out el socket terminals. Terminat 1

(A) is ground. Power to terminals 2, 3, 5 and 6 is supplied
lhroLrghtthe lighi switch and tunr sig nal co ntroller. Terminals
4 and 7, the auxiliary power termrnals receive power from
the electncal outlet socket relay and two 20-amp circuit
breakers. Terminals 4 and 7 are hot" when key switch is
turneo on.

2. Remove cap screws (A) to remove socket (B) from

se ective control vaive housing (C).

3. D sconnect wires by loosening sel screws,

4. Attach wrres to socket and righten set screws. Be sure

lhe correct w res are attached to the cofiect lerminals:

Ll Blue/Black Stripe
Orange
Li. Green/Black Strrpe
Orange/Black Strlpe

REMOVE BLOWER MOTOR ASSEMBLY

1. Open root and remove heaier-evaporator cover.

2. Remove elghl spring clips (A) and lour screws (B) to

remove upper ha f oi blower housing (C).

3. Remove upper hall and blower motor (A) and lans (B).

Disconnect wires

5. Inspect and repa r blower parts

6. Insta I motor and ians in ower hali of housing. Be sure

to centerihe fans to lnsure iree rolation ai (A)and (B). Adjusl

7. Connect wires and install upper half ol houslng.

8. l-slall heare-evaporator cover and seaii.g tape.

REMOVE AND INSTALL BLOWER SWITCH

1. Rer.ove bezel (A).

2 Disconnect air condit onrng warn ng lamps (B) and clock

(c).

3. Loosen switch retainifg flut. Push swltch (A) up so

retaining pin (B)clears nner roofframe (C). Puttswitch down.

4. Check switch according to lesls prov ded in Section 240,

Accessories Circuits ot TM1259.

5. Install switch and connect wires as follows:

2. Remove two cap screws (A) and one nut (B) to detach
wrper motor from frame.

5. Remove nut (B) lo detach arm (C).

6. Remove mounttng hardware and lifi out motor assembly.

NOTE: The dtlve gearis the onlyreplaceable part in the tight j

drive gear (C).

inner roof cavity, then pull down to expose swilch terminats

3. Disconnect wires at terminals (A, B, and C).

4. Leave power- n wire connecled to terminal (D) on circu t

breaker (E). Test swilch as indicate in Section 240, Accesso-
res Circ!its of TM1259.

5. Reconnect wires to swich t()rminas:

A Brown
B Black
C-Red
D Green

6. Insta wiper swilch with reta ning nut.
