Over all Responsibilities:

 Monitoring and conducting material inspection for piping, as per standards, codes and
Process standard specification.

 Prepare inspection request prior to accept the construction piping welding work, release
fabricated pipe lines, pressure testing and reinstatement of piping system in order to
prepare certification for the completed items.

 Inspection of shop fabrication of piping spools and supports. Visual inspection of weld
joints and plant piping, and preparing Punch List (A & B) after installation.

 Verification of all supporting documents like PQR (for WPS), WQTR (for welder’s
qualification), calibration certificates (for machinery, ovens etc.) and procedure
documents(for NDT) Etc.,

 Preparation of pressure test (hydro, pneumatic, and service) packages and ensure clearing
of punch items prior to Pressure test.

 Verification of gaskets, bolts and nuts as per B.O.M and Witnessing bolt-torquing of
flanged joints.

 Site surveillance to check the construction work and give some comments if necessary
according to standards.

  Installation of temporary spools with temporary gaskets and bolt, nuts. Removal of
temporary spools and reinstate the control valves, Check valves (NRV), Strainers with
permanent gasket and bolt, nuts with correct specification as mentioned in the drawing.

 Monitoring and Inspection of Erection Activities of Piping Spool as per Piping

Arrangement, Piping Layout, Piping & Instrument Diagram and Isometric Drawing.

 Before Fabrication, Erection to check the isometric drawing with correct revision as per
the latest record.
 Monitoring the preservation of Piping Spools and Valves at site (Plant) in a good
Condition placed on Wooden Planks, Covering of ends with Plastic Covered.
 ToCheck Manifold Certificates, Pressure Gauges and Relief Valve during Hydro Test.
 Clearing of Reinstatement Item after Hydro Test.

 October 2004 to September 2005 with Krupa Engineering – India as

Mechanical Engineer.
 January 2003 to August 2004 with GE Godavari Engineers Limited-India as
QA/QC Engineer.

 Supervise of fabrication work which include various type of weld joints

 Site supervision and implementation of job drawing of projects.
 Fabrication and Erection of pipe supports and their alignment, erection of different kinds
of valve.
 Check all the dimension mentioned in drawing and orientation.
 Preparation of bill of material and inspection of fabricated pipe line spools as per
isometric drawing.
 Preparation of the Hydro test as per Line Class Designation issued by Engineering
Department with priority.
 Progress Monitoring and Maintaining Man power, Equipment and material requirement
to meet the project schedule.
 Assign construction works/activities to supervisors/leadmen of Mechanical Works
Group according to its priorities
 Maintain good coordination with production supervisors and managers.
 Coordinate with construction, testing group, in the preparation test requirement of each
test package and facilities close out of any outstanding punch items before and after the
pressure tests.
