Modernization of Labs in Electrical Department

1. This is in reference to discussion with the HOD Electronics 21 FEB 2019. A rough sketch of
estimate is designed and prices may vary company to company. Items required to make the labs
fully functional are tabulated below, though there may be some minor additions in future .This is
designed to accommodate an augmented capacity of 120 students.

(f) This is a rough estimate with inclusion of power electronics lab a minimum fund of 10 lakhs is
required for augmented capacity of 120 students.

3. Observations/Suggestions.

 Basic Electrical laboratory needs to be augmented.

 Various items for lab can be formulated in form of student projects like fault simulators,
transformer kits and most experiments in power systems and power electronics laboratory.
 With readymade kits with manually designed by students as part of minor or major projects
which will cut monetary burden on college.

 It is a rough estimate. Prices may vary from company to company
