1. Court’s unilateral assumption of jurisdiction

4. Agreement or consent or acquiescence of any or all of the parties (Allied Domecq Phil. Inc., v. Villon, G.R.
No. 156264, September 30, 2004);
5. Erroneous belief of the court that it exists (Id.);
6. Acquiescence of the court (Republic v. Estipular, G.R. No. 136588, July 20, 2000); and
7. Silence, waiver of failure to object.
NOTE: The issue of jurisdiction over the subject matter of the case can be raised even for the first time on
appeal (Heirs of Julao v. De Jesus, G.R. No. 176020, September 29, 2014).
