PRODUCTION
The members of our team of specialists are perfectly attuned one to another. At each specific link of the
production chain, the package you will be assembled in no-time.
The elaborate chronology of the activities in our production process ensures that the run-through time
of any product within each link is reduced to a minimum. The departments such as material processing, paint-
coating, assembly, testing and packaging operate in accordance with the three most essential criteria of
our business philosophy, maintained each day a new, quality, flexibility and speed.
MACHINERY
An automated machine park within the production process at Divinity ensures that parts to be handled
move along quickly and efficiently to the different departments. folding, grinding and sanding are just a
few of the countless processes necessary for the products to progress on to each of the different production
stages. The fact that Divinity has an ultra-modern and multi-functional machine park means that we are in
a position to produce every possible product within very short period of time.

WAREHOUSE
Guarantee reliable delivery is a number one priority for us. In order to provide our clients with the
highest level of service we have to be in a position to deliver the required product within the shortest
possible deadline. To this end we have a large warehouse with a total surface area of more than 1000m2.
Every order or component that has to be added to a finished article at short notice is stored with a
guaranteed minimum quantity. We are thus able to handle all orders quickly and efficiently day in and
day out.
IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURING
Each product is developed entirely in-house. After the concept or design has been assessed, the
development procedure can be undertaken. The decision of which manufacturing process is to be
applied for the various components will be based on elaborate drawings. Treatments such as extrusion,
casting, die-casting, turning and mill-cutting will be considered and weighed one as compared to the
other to determine the best price/quality ration. In the electro-technical field, too, care is devoted to
applying the proper technologies so that the product can be delivered to the market without any
problems, after having passed the various lab tests scheduled

characteristics such as colour spectrum, intensity and timing, the characteristics of the artificial light in our
surroundings will be of significance if we spend a lot of time indoors. Human Centric Lighting solutions can
support the human circadian rhythm, enhance concentration, prevent sleeping disorders and improve our overall
well-being.
The new use of light is made possible because of the new knowledge on the biological effects of light, and
because of recent innovations in lighting technology. With the introduction of LEDs, or Light Emitting Diodes,
tuneable white light can be achieved in an energy-efficient manner, which is easy to control with advanced control
systems. New smart connected lighting systems create endless possibilities with better user control.

Human Centric Lighting in offices
Humans spend most of their time awake indoors. That makes office areas excellent places to implement Human
Centric Lighting solutions. Such solutions can bring increased energy and motivation to employees.
For example can a cool white light with high intensity in the beginning of the workday shift our sleep phase forward
and help reset our biological clock. For countries with little daylight during the winter months, “tuneable white light”
luminaires may reduce winter depressions and other seasonal affective disorders. The same lighting settings may also
give short-term concentration and alertness effects, when applied correctly.Workplace lighting can, in addition to
providing sufficient light to conduct work-related visual tasks, affect employees’ alertness, mood, cognition, sleep-
wake pattern and health. The timing, duration and spectral composition of the light exposure all play important
roles in these non-image forming effects. Moreover, research has shown that these effects may depend on the
environmental context, type of activity, person characteristics and employees’ momentary level of fatigue.
Benefits Exposure to more intense light may boost employees’ feelings of alertness and vitality during daytime and at
night.
Circadian effective light exposure during the daytime may have a positive effect on office workers’ sleep during the
subsequent night.
The light settings can influence employees’ appraisals of the lighting and the working environment. Individuals’
preferred light settings show substantial variations. Individual lighting control will affect job satisfaction positively.A
balance must be found between the need for individual control and automatic control to ensure the maximum
circadian effect and minimum risk of misuse. To allow for more individuality, tuneable white free standing or pendant
luminaires by or above each workstation is recommended. A semi-automatic control system where parts of the cycle
is automated, for instance in the morning when the energy light is needed, is the best solution. During the day, the
user may set the colour temperature and intensity levels according to his or her own preferences. That would give
the user access to activating light whenever he or she wants, just by the push on a button. Office landscapes with
luminaires that emits light with different colour temperatures may pose an aesthetical challenge.

POWER OVER ETHERNET
POE lighting refers to the ability to use an Ethernet cable to power light fixtures (luminaires) and
transmit data between the luminaire and the control software.
What this means is that one cable can both power and control the fixtures attached to the
network. when the Ethernet cable is plugged into the fixture, it is automatically powered, assigned
a unique IP address and automatically discovered by the lighting controls software. Since each
fixture has a unique address, this gives the user the ability to programme commands and changes
into the software without having to rewire the lighting scheme.
Data can be collected from attached devices – such as motion sensors – to prompt specified
lighting commands. As long as you have compatible fixtures attached to the Ethernet cable, you
can control dimming, timing, sensors, lighting colours, daylight harvesting and so on to maximise
efficiency and comfort. What this requires is a software system to provide the brains behind the
controls.
Global standard Cat 5/6 cable can carry the commands of the software to control the lighting
fixture as well as all attached devices such as sensors and wall switches. At the same time, all
the fixtures and devices can send information back to the software. This data, combined with an
analytics tool allows users to keep an eye on energy usage and the life expectancy of the devices,
and can also transmit maintenance indicators and notify designated staff of technical problems
immediately as they arise.
