 BRIEF HISTORY
ESTABLISHED 1979

INTRODUCTION CAPITAL BUILDERS is involved in construction business like building

works, infrastructure works i.e. roads, water supply, sewerage and
allied works. However we have the honour to accept challenging jobs
like rehabilitation of dams and tunnels. We have experience of over
38 years and specialize in many fields of construction like
waterproofing, industrial flooring, repairing of dams & tunnels
/Structures.

SISTER COMPANY Capital Builders has established a Sister Company as

for solving problems of seepage , leakage
& structural damages of the existing structures.

TURNOVER The turnover of the company is about 700 millions and will be
touching a billion Rupees per year by 2018.
LOCATION The company’s Head Office is located at Islamabad and has
camp offices in almost all the major cities of Pakistan. As the
business expands, we expect that regular branch offices at
divisional level will be fully operational by 2020.

Presently the company is involved in construction of private and

hospitals, public buildings, civil engineering, infrastructure
works, rehabilitation works etc. Right now, the company have
over 500 employees, which can be broadly classified the

Diploma Engineers, Foremen, Accounts Personnel,
Administration, Drivers, Skilled Workers, Semiskilled workers
and Un-Skilled workers.

Crystalline waterproofing admixture for concrete

Suitable for any type of concrete element that is constantly

or temporarily in contact with water, such as foundations,
basements, water tanks, tunnels, canals, sewage and
wastewater treatment tanks, swimming pools, etc.
PROPERTIES:
 Provides water impermeability against water pressure
from either the positive or the negative surface of
concrete.
 Significantly reduces the capillary absorption of water.
 Remains permanently active for the life of the structure
and therefore, continuously protects the construction
from water penetration. Complies to EN-934-2
CONSUMPTION: 0.8-1.0 kg per 100 kg of cement.

Plasticizer, type A - Concrete waterproofing admixture

Used in foundations, basements, water tanks, tunnels, canals,

sewage and waste treatment tanks, swimming pools, etc.
PROPERTIES:
 When added to the concrete, it plasticizes it and significantly
increases water impermeability.
 Improves workability without addition of water.
 Free of chlorides and other corrosive ingredients.
 Compatible with all kinds of Portland cement.

CONSUMPTION: 0.2-0.5 kg per 100 kg of cement.

WATERSTOP 1520
Bentonite swelling tape

Used in underground constructions for sealing horizontal or

vertical connection joints to concrete elements. Can also be
used for sealing conjunction joints (e.g. pipes penetrating
concrete walls, etc.).

PROPERTIES:
In contact with water, it increases in volume by swelling up to
270%.
Seals and waterproofs the joint gaps permanently.

Rapid-setting cement for instant sealing of water
leaks

Used for instant plugging of local or superficial water

leaks, rapid fixing and anchoring.

PROPERTIES:
 The hardening reaction starts immediately after the
addition of water.
 Easy and instant plugging of local or superficial water
leaks.
CONSUMPTION: 1.6 kg of AQUAFIX to prepare 1 lit of
hardened mixture.

DUROCRET PENETRATE
Crystalline waterproofing and repairing cement mortar

Used for repairing concrete, cement mortars, masonry,

for forming fillets, etc. For waterproofing concrete
elements, in cases ranging from simple moisture to
water under pressure. For indoor and outdoor use.
PROPERTIES:
 High compressive and flexural strength.
 Very good adhesion to the substrate.
 Abrasion resistance.
 Continuous protection of the construction from water
presence, as it remains permanently active.
 Simplification of work.

Two-component, epoxy impregnation adhesive

for composite fabrics

Used for the impregnation of fabrics made of synthetic fibers,

during the static and seismic strengthening of concrete, masonry,
wooden, etc. elements. Does not contain solvents.

PROPERTIES:
 Strong bonding to the substrate.
 High hardness.
 Increased compressive and flexural strength.

CONSUMPTION: 0.7-1.2 kg/m².

Unidirectional carbon fabric for structural strengthening

In combination with the epoxy resin EPOMAX-LD, it forms a

Composite Material (FRP) that is used for the strengthening
of structural elements as externally bonded reinforcement,
providing high tensile strength and confinement.

Carbon plates for structural strengthening

High-strength, prefabricated carbon plates consisting of

100% unidirectional carbon fibers found in an epoxy resin
matrix. They are externally bonded to structural elements, in
combination with the adhesive epoxy paste EPOMAX-PL,
and are used as reinforcement for the flexural strengthening
of building elements.

Used:

In construction works, such as highways, bridge decks, tunnels,
etc.
PROPERTIES:
Excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV and weather
resistance properties.
Excellent bonding to concrete, cement mortars, wood and most
waterproofing layers.
Application is possible even on irregular substrates.
Suitable for use in green roofs, flower beds, etc. as it is certified
as root resistant.
CONSUMPTION: Approx. 1.5 kg/m2.

ISOFLEX-PU 600

Aliphatic, polyurethane, waterproofing liquid

membrane for flat roofs

Has the same fields of application with ISOFLEX-PU

500, but with the following advantages:
Being an aliphatic polyurethane, it does not turn yellow
and preserves the original color, whether it is dark or
light.
Less sensitive when applied in thicker layers, as
regards failures, such as blistering, etc.

CONSUMPTION: Approx. 2.0-2.25 kg/m2.

PRIMER-PU 100

PRIMER OF ISOFLEX-PU

Ensures the proper adhesion of ISOFLEX-PU on

substrates like concrete, cement mortar, wood, etc.

PROPERTIES:
Penetrates and anchors into the pores of the substrate.
Acts as a bonding layer between ISOFLEX-PU and the
substrate.

CONSUMPTION: 0.2-0.3 kg/m2.

PACKAGING & COLORS: 1 kg, 5 kg and 17 kg metal containers,
transparent.
ISOFLEX-PU 550

Two-component, solvent-free, polyurethane,

waterproofing liquid membrane

For waterproofing underneath tiles in kitchens, bathrooms,

balconies, roofs and flat roofs, as long as quartz sand has been
previously broadcasted on its last layer. Also used under thermal
insulation boards on flat roofs.
PROPERTIES:
Excellent mechanical, chemical and thermal resistance.
Forms a uniform, elastic, waterproof, vapor-permeable sealing
layer, without seams or joints.
Excellent adhesion to concrete, cement mortars, wood, etc. and
most waterproofing membranes.
Application is possible, even on irregular substrates.
Ideal for indoor use (e.g. waterproofing under tiles), as it is
solvent-free and almost odorless.
CONSUMPTION: Approx. 1.5 kg/m2.
PACKAGING & COLORS: 12.5 kg (Α+Β) metal containers, in grey.
TOPCOAT-PU 720

Aliphatic, elastic, polyurethane top coat

Used:
For the protection of polyurethane waterproofing coatings from
UV exposure, especially when a dark color has been chosen.
In case the final surface has to be resistant against pedestrian
traffic and light vehicle traffic (e.g. parking lots).
As a protective paint for metal and concrete surfaces.
PROPERTIES:
 Simple application (one-component product).
 Color stability.
 A glossy and easy-to-clean surface, resistant to light pedestrian
traffic.
 Resistance to frost.
 Maintenance of its mechanical properties over a temperature
span of -40oC to +90oC.
CONSUMPTION: 0.12-0.25 kg/m2, depending on the substrate.
PACKAGING & COLORS: 1 kg, 5 kg and 20 kg containers,
in white and grey.
PRIMER-PU 140

Polyurethane, two-component primer for

surfaces with high moisture content

Polyurethane, two-component primer that creates the proper

conditions for the adhesion of ISOFLEX-PU polyurethane,
brushable, waterproofing membranes. Penetrates and anchors
into the pores of the substrate, stabilizing it, while acting as a
bonding layer with ISOFLEX-PU membranes.

Ideal for substrates with high moisture content, preventing

problems with ISOFLEX-PU membrane.

Also suitable for interior use, as it is solvent-free, thus odorless.

CONSUMPTION: 100-200 g/m2, depending on the substrate

absorptivity.

DUROFLOOR-PU
Two-component, brushable aliphatic
polyurethane coating for floors

Used as a brushable coating on floors that require high elasticity,

mechanical and chemical strength. Suitable for interior and exterior
applications on cement-based substrates, e.g. concrete, cement-
mortars or asbestos cement, steel or iron surfaces, existing epoxy
floors, refrigerator and freezer rooms, industrial areas, warehouses,
laboratories, hospitals, wine factories, slaughter-houses, canned
food factories, garages, car workshops, etc.
PROPERTIES:
 Excellent resistance to UV radiation.
 Resistance to abrasion, as well as organic and inorganic acids,
alkalis, petroleum products, specific solvents, waste, water, sea
water and weather conditions.
 Resistance to temperatures ranging from -300C to +1000C in dry
loading and up to +600C in wet loading.
CONSUMPTION: 250-300 g/m2 per layer.
PACKAGING & COLORS: 10 kg in grey. More RAL colors
available by order.
 TOPCOAT-PU 720
Aliphatic, elastic, polyurethane top coat

Used for the protection of polyurethane waterproofing coatings

from:
 UV exposure, especially when a dark color has been chosen.
 Pedestrian traffic and light vehicle traffic (e.g. parking lots).
Can also be used for the protection of metal and concrete
surfaces.

TUNNEL SOLUTIONS

 ISOMAT INJECT PU 820
Rigid, water-sealing injection resin
ISOMAT INJECT PU 820 is a low-viscosity, MDI-based, water-
reactive, polyurethane injection resin. It reacts with water and
forms rigid, hydrophobic sealing foam.
PROPERTIES:
It forms hard, high-strength sealing foam in the crack or joint.It is fast reacting and
curing.
It seals leakages or active, high flow (and/or high hydrostatic pressure) water
leaks.It penetrates deep into fine cracks.
It reacts with water, forming CO2 gas. This gas produces a swelling pressure and
the resin expands to foam, preventing any water penetration.
Free expansion: min. 1,700% - 2,200%. It does not shrink after curing.
It shows excellent adhesion to mineral construction materials (such as concrete,
cement, brick), metal and certain plastics.
The reaction speed can be controlled by varying the amount of catalyst.
It is chemically resistant against water, weak acids and alkali, mineral oils, fungus
and bacteria, ground water, sea water and petroleum products.

 Limitations of Polyurea

• Polyurea is basically insensitive to moisture. But if it is

applied on wet substrates or at saturated relative humidity,
isocyanate will react with water forming pimples/bubbles.
However, if applied on dry surface it out matches all
waterproofing agents
• Requires skillful applicator & suitable spraying
machine/nozzle
• Slightly higher upfront cost but economical in long run
