How Ancient Egypt influenced modern life

​As you can see that in our modern world still has Ancient Egyptian stuffs. The Egyptians invented many

influential inventions. Not only the pyramids that still stand to this day but also many things that were invented by

them. For that past day, Ancient Egypt civilisation was very in progress. They invented various things and

methods for their living and this continued influence to our modern world. I would like to explain how Ancient

Egypt influenced modern life.

Many people may not know that Ancient Egyptian made their daily life better by invented things. I will give

ten examples of Ancient Egyptians influenced modern life. Firstly, the pyramids are the most remarkable things in

the modern world. It may not make our life easier but nowadays the one of popular terrace attraction is Egyptian’s

pyramids. The Egyptians were remarkable at mathematics. The earliest records of geometry come from Egypt as

their geometry specialists were called “arpedonapti” which used to calculate the area of lands. For the third one is

a game that very similar to our modern world which is a bowling. The archaeologist found a child’s grave

containing crude pins and small marbles and all of this might have related to bowling. In a room near a residential

area, they found a lane with a hole in the middle. By the way, we are not using Egyptian alphabet but the

phonetic came from Egypt. Phonetic made people in the modern world from the different country can learn

languages easier. Next is paper and writing which Egyptians didn’t invent the paper we use today but they

invented the reed pen and papyrus which was a huge step up from carving wood into stone. Egyptians have also

invented the wig which they used to protect head lice and heat but in modern world, wig is for some people who

want to disguise baldness or for who want to quickly change hair style. The next one is recorded medicine. There

was various kind of herbs and ground-up animal that use for treating so Egyptians started to record the method,

however, they produced some of the oldest logs we have found of both medical procedures and medicine

recipes. Not only in our modern world that has surgery but in Ancient Egypt also had too. The archaeologist

found several bronze surgical tools and the Egyptians also with down the method and procedure. The things that

we use every day for knowing a date is the calendar which the ancient civil Egyptian calendar had a year that

was 365 days long so it was similar to modern world calendar. The last one is toothpaste which the Egyptians

also had like the way modern world has. They invented the first recorded toothpaste specifically created and

reported to help oral health.

 Finally, various things that they invented are still used until today but some of them may be changed or

developed however if they were not invented those things or methods, they may not exist today. These things

make our modern life easier for living especially the calendar. In my opinion, something is not that useful but it is

not useless too.
